All i can say is i purchased this tv back in April 2010. Worked well but speakers could barely be heard. Picture not bad. All of a sudden tv died this onth Nov.2010. Called tech number and they thought it was the motherboard. Sent replacement part to my home and service tech arrived a few days later. Replaced board and same problem continued. Was then told tv was no good and no parts were available. This was a 5 month old tv without replacement parts. Tech then says the company will call a few days later with either instructions on refund or replacement tv. Basically just throw out tv. And that nothing could be done with set. I was amazed at what i was hearing. Stay away from no name brand tv`s and good with quaility. You may paya alittle more at first but believe me you don`t want this to happen to you on your 12 month and 1 day. Or else your out the $600 all together.

Only surpassed by Black Friday door busters I bought this for my kids to play games on. Great picture. Not sure about the sound since I plugged Bose computer speakers in as primary sound as soon as I got it.
