I'm a big Taraji fan so I recently brought Proud Mary on Blu Ray starring Taraji P. Henson... The only thing that I regret is that I did not buy this movie sooner... Taraji's role in Proud Mary is like an upgrade of her role in SMOKIN ACES but combined with Columbiana (starring Zoe Saladana) meets The Professional (starring Jean Reno)... Proud Mary was extremely action packed whereas Taraji really made this movie a success by being so pretty, sexy & deadly but wjth a heart-filled conscience all at the same time... I highly recommend this movie to my family, friends, business associates & those who may read my review of this awesome movie... I just regret that BestBuy did not have their "Upgrade & Save" Program because I would've brought a few more Blu Ray copies for family, friends & business associates...

I’m a big Tarahi Henson fan, so when I purchased this movie, I knew it would’ve a good buy. This movie was so awesome. Every actor/actress played their part very well. Danny Glover even as he ages, did a fantastic job. I loved how Mary took on the role as a parent to the young boy, whose father she maliciously killed when he was just only 7 or 8 years old. She saw him heading down the same path of crime that she took so early in her life and decided she wouldn’t let him make that same mistake.

I had read nothing good about this film so I had no expectations of it being very good . On that note I found it a fun action fil and enjoyed it .

Real entertaining and non stop action. Love how she take care of business and then show the heart of a mother when it comes to the little boy.

Nice action movie. Taraji shows her talent again as a good actor. Deadly role on one side but also compassionate on the other.

This movie is probably worth it just for the title. Try not to think about it too much.
