The eighth season of Psych ended the show perfectly with great episodes, more laughs than should be legal, and just enough opening at the end for possible movies to continue the story! The extras, by appearance, are somewhat deceptive. As a huge fan of commentary, I was disappointing that no commentaries were listed, only to find that the podcasts were the commentaries and there were quite a few of them, packed with cast, crew, and writers. While I always wish for even more extras, those that were on the DVDs were hilarious and perfect for all the PsychOs who have been fans since the beginning, as well as those who joined along the way. If the show had to end, this was the perfect ending--Psych went out on top and these DVDs are the perfect addition to any PsychO's collection.

Psychos everywhere are anxious and depressed, now that "Psych" has ended. We have no choice but to huddle around our DVD collection of all eight seasons of Psych, eating churros and chili cheese fries, with an occasional break for Red Robin burgers. I am cuddling my pet pineapple right now while watching season eight. The creators of the show decided to end it while the writing was still sharp and the characters were still engaging. The final season episodes are as funny and satirical as all the shows that went before, plus there are tidy wrap-ups to the relationships at the heart of the series.

They said Season 8 was going to be a season for the fans. Well it sure was!! With a remake of an old episode and finally doing several episodes that they have talked about doing for years, it made the last season the one of the best of the series! I've watched a few of my other favorite shows end and though I liked the endings, they left me wanting more answers. But Psych wrapped everything up as perfect as any Psych-O could ask for!

The Psych writers and cast went all out on this final season. The shows are great in complete Psych form. The final episode really caps the show and defines where the characters are going. I find the season to be very satisfying, far from below par. I also find it easier that Psych the Musical is included on Season 8 DVD instead of having the movie on its own.

I love this show, and I'm sad that it has ended. BUT now I have the complete series and can watch it over and over again. They didn't skimp on the special features. You get the psych-outs and more. It also has the Psych Musical, which is great for those who didn't purchase it when it came out. LOVE this show and dvd sets.

I have never laughed so hard from a tv show ever. and this tv show makes me laugh hard to tears all the time. even if you watch the same episode over and over there's always something that you miss so you honestly have to watch each episode over again to catch all the comedy its just great!!!!!!!!!!

James Roday and Dule Hill are great together. Fantastic timing. Off the wall. How do they do it? They make it look seamless. Yet, the crime solving is also intelligent. You can really care about the characters. I am sad to see this great show go off the air, but it is leaving on a high note.

Psych has been a great show for 8 seasons. The final season was a little different than the others, but still great to have new Psych episodes. Psych: The Musical was a very nice surprise. When other finales had fallen short this year, Psych's hit the mark.

This is how you end a series! It's just too bad the show had to end, it's one that could've gone on much longer. I'll miss Shawn and Gus. I know the creator of the show was joking about having 6 films, but I hope he hasn't completely ruled out at least one.

Unfortunately the final season of Psych is only 10 episodes plus the Musical that was in between seasons 7&8. The final season is all about Shawn and Gus which is how it should be though you do miss out on and miss other characters.

Psych is easily my favorite TV show. The chemistry between the characters is amazing and continually grows over its 8 seasons. The writing is amazing and Season 8 was a great finish to an amazing show.

Truly the best show on tv!! I still cannot believe that there will not be another season. On the final episode, I would have loved to see Monk!! And they finally got Val Kilmer on the show. Priceless!!

While the last season may be 5 episodes shorter than other seasons it is just as much as the rest of them. They ended the series perfectly with Shawn making decisions true to Shawn nature.

One of the best shows ever made. The combination of drama, mystery and comedy makes each season a must watch. This season includes Psych: The Musical and lots of other bonus content!

This was a great show and still makes me laugh over and over. Includes the Psych Musical with bonuses. Sad to see it end but I'll enjoy watch this with others for years to come.

If you are looking for a show that is gloomy, dark, and focused on a plot with no jokes; then keep moving. This is show is back with jokes, cultural references and great mischief.

Love watching the show! Good clean family show for both pre-teen and adults. I think we have have watched them at least five times since we bought. Catch something new every time.

This series is one of the best that came from the USA Network. James Roday and Dule Hill are phenomal. Great cast. It’s a must see for detective fans..

It was so sad to purchase the final season but once watching the cast had me laughing all over again. Such a wonderful show that you can enjoy with your children & your pineapple.

Loved the show since the beginning. Never missed an episode Now i have the whole collection and will be watching my own Re-Runs. Hope to see them do a spin off or TV movie.
