I've seen Psycho in many different formats. This is hands down the best. Full 4k picture here. It looks incredible. HDR 10 really helps the black levels. No dolby vision on this disc. Audio, there is a new track which is DTS X track from a DTS 5.1 and sounds incredible. The score is excellent from opening minutes. There is also a purists version as it was shown originally. This is the first time that the true uncut version has ever been released on home media. No edits.

One of the all time great horror movies ever made and for the 1st time in stunning 4k.. Steelbook is beautiful,picture is gorgeous and of course the movie is awesome

Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho was released in 1960. It was quite controversial for it's time particularly for the famous " Shower Scene " . The film's budget was much smaller than Hitchcock's previous hit, " North By Northwest " . It stars Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins. It's considered by many film critics and film scholars all over the world to be an All Time Classic, like many other Hitchcock films. The picture in 4K looks much better than the Blu-ray version and the soundtrack is also superior. This is a must own for any Alfred Hitchcock fan or any film buffs.

The restoration of the movie itself is something to behold and seeing the uncut version seals the deal. The design of the steelbook a cherry on top.

I’ve seen Psycho many times including movie theaters, TV, DVD, but this Blu Ray stunned me! Beautiful HD transfer, and STEREO sound! I’m a Filmmaker who LOVES Hitchcock and I think he would have approved of this Beautiful version! Can’t recommend enough!

I love collecting steelbooks and Psycho is an all-time classic, so even though I already owned this on Blu-ray, I couldn't pass it up. It was only $5 in store, so the deal couldn't be beat! I love the color of the steelbook as well and highly recommend it.

I saw this back in the day when it first came to our home town theater. The best Hitchcock movie ever, when I spotted the DVD at Best Buy, there was no consideration of not purchasing it to enjoy it again years after I first saw the movie.

Psycho looks amazing on 4K and includes the original cut that I wasn’t even aware has been shelved forever.

"Psycho" looks amazing on 4K UHD! The HDR really brings out the color variances even in black and white, and grain looks natural and fine, rather than chunky. The "uncut" version does not boast much difference from the version we've seen for 60 years now but it's a nice addition. All special features are included on the 4K disc as well, which is a nice touch. The Best Buy exclusive steelbook is glossy and a fingerprint magnet but it's a great design nonetheless.

Excellent picture quality, as is the case with vertigo and rear window. They seem to be doing hitchcock justice on 4k. Don't know how the birds and the films of vol. 2 look. I think I'm going to pick that up as set, as I've only seen 2 out of the 5 films in that set. Hope to see north by northwest and the 39 steps come to UHD. Rope would be cool too.

C'mon it's Hitchcock's classic horror film that shocked audiences when it came out. Sure it might seem kinda tame compared to today's films, but it was the first! Only downside is that this version is no longer available from BB.

Everyone should know by now what Psycho is about so I won't get into the plot, but if you don't own this movie on home video yet then I would recommend the 4K release. The picture is very impressive, especially for a 60 year old movie. The movie itself was shot in black and white but the picture is pretty sharp overall. Great movie that still holds up today-A.

Watch again, and again, and again! Amazing Hitchcock film.

A classic made to last! This steelbook is gorgeous. The picture looks great and the sound is terrific.
