This amazing work of art has a truly amazing story. The first time I watched it on Netlfix, I was mesmerized. There were 3 nights of "What the?! It's 2AM already?!" because of how captivating the story is. I'm really glad it was released as a complete "season". Buying two separate parts was too much and seeing where the first one ended (The main protagonist Akane's first real encounter with the main antagonist, Makishima), I wouldn't have been able to wait to get the second. After the first encounter, that's when the story becomes really intense. I definitely recommend this masterpiece to anyone who loves a good story. P.S. There's A LOT of literary references in the show as well. I believe the first time they show Makishima, he's reading George Orwell's "1984", which perfectly describes Psycho-Pass' version of Japan.

This is a must-watch/must-own for fans of the cyberpunk sub-genre of sci-fi. If like me you waited for a single release of all season one episodes, the wait is over. This season can absolutely standalone and be enjoyed without also getting the (less impressive and unnecessary) second season, or follow-up movie. Both subtitles and English dub are included. The dub is certainly acceptable, but the voice work of the female lead is a bit underwhelming. Also, as is increasingly the case nowadays, you must choose between the English dub OR Japanese with English subtitles on the Blu-ray. This means it is not possible to have the subtitles and English dub running at the same time.

As the title states, this is one of the best anime that has been released in quite some time (even though it is just redone like Fullmetal Brotherhood). While I have not watched all anime that has been released PP comes in with an interesting story and great art that can keep you interested from the first few episodes until the end with only a little lagging in between.

If you haven't heard of this show it's really good. Interesting take on a "cop show" anime, was really engaged first time viewing and really enjoyed it in its entirety. However if you do buy make sure to check to make sure you have all the correct discs. I had two duplicates of disc 2 and no disc 3 so had to return luckily Best Buy support was very nice and helpful. Overall great show just double check your discs.

This is a superbly concieved anime series that's futuristic but not too far off on the horizon. Advances in our understanding of DNA and genetic markers, these are very real and somewhat frightening ethical issues we'll soon face.

I've been a huge fan of "Ghost in the Shell" for years and after seeing everything from that I could, many people recommend Pyscho Pass to me and I finally got around to watching it and really enjoyed it!

Enjoyed the show so much that I Had to buy it, even though it was only available as a Blu-Ray + DVD combo pack. (I don't see the point of that for an animated series). But still an excellent series.

I feel so sorry for anybody who missed out on this anime this year because it was absolutely brilliant. Likewise, I also feel sorry for anybody who didn’t, because Urobuchi Gen ripped their hearts out.

This is a very good sci fi anime. This set has all 22 episodes from the first season dub and sub. If you like movies like Blade Runner or Minority Report you'll like this.

I bought this for my college aged daughter because she really enjoys anime. I wasn’t thrilled about the name but she said it was a good series

Th future is not yours. Think of a justice system gone wild. A dark futuristic system that hires evil to fight evil. A must have for your anime collection.

It has a unique premise. Starts fast and continues the pace till the end. All the dominator kills are amazing. One of the best villains in anime ever.

Great twist of the dark areas of what is right and wrong while making it a gray areaa. All the while making it a modern and realistic era.

If you liked or loved (like I did) the original anime, then you'll love this follow up film. The english voice acting is top notch also.

sadly the set itself was in kinda bad shape but the interior was new, amazing series that will put you think about society and its norms.

This is a really great Series at first i was skeptical about this, but the voice acting for the dub is amazing, and the story too.

A very cool take on the future in the nature of minority report, when dealing with crime prevention. Very interesting and engaging.

If you enjoy sci-fi anime this is a must watch. Very well made, story is amazing and characters are written well.

This series is amazing. Imagine a gun that digitally can tell if your a criminal. That's the basis for this anime. It will keep your interest throughout the 20+ episode season. Check it out.
