I would definitely recommend this, but only if you've seen at least season 1 of Psycho-Pass. Pyscho-Pass 2, while not required watching to really get what's happening here, does add a little more, as it serves to build certain characters introduced in Season 2, like Mika and Hinakawa. For what it is, it would be an excellent build-up to a second film, which I anticipate is a possibility considering the easter egg at the end. And with writer Gen Urobuchi back at the writing helm on this one, I knew I was going to love it no matter what. Even though it has a different feel from season 1, it's still equally excellent, writing-wise, action-wise, animation-wise, character-wise. The only downside I'd say is the Akane/Kougami interactions will only leave fans of the (possible) pairing wanting more. *note, my "yes" to recommending to a friend, I would reiterate is only for a friend who has already seen at least season 1.

This Anime Movie Was Very Good Especially If Your A Psycho Pass Fan Or Just Starting To Get Into The Series. The Price Was Pretty Good Also And As A Bonus I Liked The Cool Little Mini Artwork Posters That Were Included Which I Thought Was A Nifty Concept From Funimation. The Story And Action In It Were Pretty Good As Well. I'd Definitely Recommend It For Die Hard Anime Fans Especially For Under 20$. It's Worth A Try At Least!

When I started watching Psycho-Pass, I knew next to nothing about the series, save for two things: One, that it was made by the infamous Urobutcher, and two, that it came highly recommended all around. This conflict puzzled me to no end, but soon it all became clear...

It was a good movie with some good plot twists like the main series. Its good to see Kogami and Akane back together. The fights and action sequences are very well done. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and was great to get more Psycho-Pass.

This movie stands alone of the series, I recommend the series as well. If Anime for you is: Ghost In The Shell, Black Lagoon, Planetes, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Appleseed, etc., this is for you. If not, you are missing Anime's real potential.

The movie was very enjoyable, featuring stunning action scenes, and getting back to the heart of the show, Akane and Kogami. If you liked the first two seasons, then you will be happy to see where this movie takes the Psycho Pass universe.

Psycho pass the movie is a great continuation of the series. The animation is top notch and the story keeps you interested throughout the whole movie. If you're a fan of anime you may want to check this out.

Great movie. Highly recommend if you are a fan of the show. It's not without its faults but overall a solid movie. The ending (post credits) sets up the possibility of a third season.

The movie isn't exactly a sequel to the first but it does show what what happened with him after. It's a completely different story but I found it a good watch.

The Psycho-Pass movie offers another great addition to the series cannon with some organic character development along with plenty of action and intrigue.
