If you are into bodybuilding it is imperative to have this movie with your collection. To see some of the best bodybuilders back in the day when it all started is a must. I can't wait for the new movie to come out, Generation Iron.

My daughter purchased this video for a boyfriend last year. The boyfriend is long gone and she wanted a copy for herself. Her comment was that it is a got to have if you enjoy working out.

I've always heard about this movie, but I had never seen it. I recently saw the movie and I thought it was awsome. Very powerful.

Unless you are a fitness nut and live Arnold like my husband does this movie can be kinda slow and boring

Pumping Iron is a film chronicling the preparation toward the 1975 Mr. Olympia, where Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to defend his crown for the last time (he later returned to win the 1980 edition as well). It is the first time people ever really saw the inside of a hardcore gym, and gives you the perspective of how the great bodybuilders of that time trained, lived and breathed. If you are into training, watch it once and it will change your life.

'Pumping Iron' is a documentary that will most likely only entertain people who are involved in, or enjoy the sport of 'Bodybuilding.' The documentary is quite informative, at least about how the sport was in the late 1970's and early 1980's, and this dvd features exclusive bonus content that will be appreciated by fans of Schwarzenegger.

I watched this movie countless times growing up and now that my son is bodybuilding, it's a great memory to share with him. For some insight into Arnold from when he was 26 years old, well worth the time. Ferrigno is funny as well with his youth and drive.

Whats wonderful about this film is, you don't need to be into the lifestyle to appreciate it. In addition to being an amazing film, the extras show you just how it was also a real life story of the triumph of the human spirit.
