This is a great movie I've always loved Pumpkinhead this one was always my favorite. Thank you very much I always did like Best Buy it's always been my favorite store.

An oldie but goodie of the horror/sci-fi genre realm. Definitely a creepy movie. Now in this high definition collector’s edition. If you love 70/80/90’s sci-fi horror chances are you will like or love this.

One of the best horror movies ever made! Great price, tons of extras! You can’t ask for more then that!

Sadly, we don't get enough movies like this, at least films of this breed that can be taken seriously (thank you Syfy Sharknado and Sharktopus). I remember watching this as a child and it creeped me out. The monster reminded me of the Alien. Years later I was able to watch it, I believe as AMC's Monsterfest. This is a great middle market Creature Feature that I wish we got more of. The plot surrounding vacationing city kids accidentally bringing tragedy to a small town man who is forced to seek help from an unlikely and unwelcomed source. The mood and atmosphere is especially backwoods that reminds of a swamp or foggy moors. The figure the man is forced to reach out to for retribution as well as the ritual he must enact are particularly gruesome. Upon rewatching the film I was intrigued to see a horror trope associated with the genre pop up to trigger the events that lead to the systematic demise of the teens. This is how you do a B-movie, with the smarts and tender love and care to create a legitimate cult classic. This is loaded with extras and up to 6 featurettes

Directed by Special Makeup Effects artist Stan Winston, 1988's 'Pumpkinhead' is a masterclass in design, lighting and staging of this iconic vengeance monster. Lance Henriksen gives a fantastic, heartbreaking performance as a man wrought with grief who summons a demon and immediately regrets his choice. Awesome movie! This brand new 4k transfer from Scream Factory is gorgeous! The Steelbook Packaging is awesome as well. I highly recommend this release. The definitive version of this crazy cool film.

It should be noted that while Scream Factory released a non-steelbook blu-ray a few years back, this is NOT the same disc. This is actually an improved version with a better scan, resulting in superior picture quality. The first release was dark and flat looking in comparison. This is the best release available as of now, unless a 4K release is ever produced.

Beautiful release what can I say pumpkinhead is a standalone in the genre very well done film for its time and it's era very glad to see scream factory give this the steel book treatment and thankful for Best buy to carry this memorable film beautiful and nostalgic as the memories l've got to live seeing it at the drive-in with my brother and father as kids in the '80s times will never be the same but pumpkinhead can live on in this beautiful edition

A classic presented in a great steelbook with killer art. This film is a staple in any horror collection. Created by Stan Winston, make up artist extraordinaire, this film plays as a grims fairytale of demonic proportions. Terrific makeup, suit work, and all around horror brilliance. Lance Herinksen and cast deliver a great film

This recent re-release of an 80’s horror classic boasts a new 4K scan on regular 1080p Blu-ray Disc and it easily trumps the previous release from Shout Factory. Audio options have been re-scanned reportedly but special features remain the same. The steelbook design is another winner from Shout, I just wish they would use a more film-specific font or title card on the front instead of the same font for every steelbook release.

Pumpkinhead fascinated me when I first saw it, and it still does, every time I see it. The best horror is always based on human sadness, and I cried so bad when--well, I can't tell you. You'll have to experience it for yourself. The story is plausible, and I could see it happening, in a scary way. Easily one of the best films I've seen. The various ages of the characters in the film and the lack of age-ism is a big plus. I love it.

The first of these I purchased had a loose BluRay inside the case that looked pretty scratched, but they replaced it for me pretty quickly in-store. Thanks! The movie itself looks great restored to it's full glory! This film is pretty out there, but if you like the movie, this is a great way to see it.

Shout Factory did a fantastic job with both the 4k scan and beautiful limited edition steelbook. Unfortunately, SF doesn't usually include digital copies. Although there are many dark scenes throughout this movie, you don't miss anything. From the witch to pumpkinhead itself the details are just incredible!! Definitely worth the upgrade.

Great performance by Lance Henriksen (Aliens, AVP). This creature is so amazingly awesome look. It has great storyline. I like watchin' this old 80's horror classic film all over again. It has a good campy feel to it. Love watchin' in the dark. Very entertaining and suspense.

As a fan of horror films, this is the one title I had to pick up for my 4K and steelbook edition. Directed by special effects creator Stan Winston. This is an awesome film from the 90s that deserves a place in horror cinema. A must have for any horror fan!

Glorious steelbook artwork. Lots of extras... This movie is still a favorite in our house. One of the best non cgi creatures ever filmed! Stay away from pumpkinhead, unless you're tired of living. His enemies are mostly dead, he's mean and unforgiving.

Excellent edition of a great monster/revenge film. The art on this steelbook is among the best representations of Pumpkinhead that I’ve seen. The itself is quite good also, worth seeing just for the legendary Stan Winston’s creature effects alone.

Must own Collector's Steelbook Edition! This is a cult classic movie and this IS the version to own if your a fan. Great upgraded audio and video make this movie even better. Love Shout Factory’s collection of upgraded horror movie releases!

Such a classic film with an iconic practical creature. This horror film is best watched in the Halloween season but now with a 4K transfer and killer steelbook you can enjoy it anytime. Turn off the lights and watch out for...PumpkinHead.

Stan Winston's directorial debut. Is an amazing effects driven horror movie. Of course being one of the genres fore fathers. The story is a little blah, but you don't come for the story, you came to see a great monster flick.
