This humidifier rocks. Very easy to fill and operate. Extremely quiet and pumps out a bunch of humidity. Nice fine ultra mist and nice colors that glow. The 1 gallon is perfect that it last all day on high. Most importantly, did I mention that it is ultra quiet? I forget that it is on all the time. If you need a humidifier, don't hesitate to get this one.

    Great humidifier!

This humidifier is a great solid machine and does exactly what it should. It's super quiet and puts out a ton of vapor that actually goes into the air and not just on the floor or table around it as other machines I've tried tend to do. It's adjustable and has the added bonus of lights you can turn on for the water tank in three different colors (red, green, or blue) - which looks amazing at night, and adds to the comfort in a room. It also has an adjustment knob to control how much vapor is release and has a sensor to auto-shut off when it runs out of water. I have a smaller version of this machine that I have on my desk that I've had for more than a year now and have NEVER had any issues with it. This machine works just as good as the small one and the warranty is outstanding. That said, I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing the gallon jugs of DISTILLED water to use in this machine (or any other cool mist humidifier for that matter). If you don't, you'll almost certainly get that white dust on stuff (especially if your water is hard) and even if not it will lead to the machine getting dirty or worse grow bacteria and start to smell and be difficult to clean. Using distilled water is a pain but definitely ensures you avoid all that hassle. After using it for a while, follow the cleaning instructions periodically and never let it sit unused with water in the tank for any extended period of time! What would put this machine over the top is if it had a humidity sensor accessory that you could put in the room to monitor how much humidity is going in to the room. In some situations too much humidity is bad and will cause condensation on walls, and windows which could lead to mildew or mold so it would be nice if a machine like this had a way to monitor the room. It would also be great if it had a timer you could set to turn off or on at a set time (or control via an app on WiFi and customize the colors). If you're looking for a humidifier that has all those features unfortunately this is not the machine. Even without those features, this machine is great, it's simple to use and functions well. In addition it looks great in any room just about anywhere in the room (though I would not recommend sitting it in a window because the light will cause bacteria and algae over time). Overall, because of the warranty, the aesthetic look and simple operation I'd definitely recommend this machine.

    Great for the kids

The humidifier works great for our kids' rooms. It's quiet and they love the lighting as a night light. It also has a mode without the light if it becomes a distraction for younger kids. Once set up it's also versatile in that you can change the level of output with the dial and then change the direction of the mist by just turning the nozzle so the kids don't have to mess with turning the whole device and risk spilling the water. I would recommend this model for anyone with kids or even an adult looking for one that has a built in light.

Solid Humidifier for a Reasonable Price

There's not much to say about this humidifier. It works great. It's easy to clean (vinegar works well to remove any contaminants on the ultrasonic plate). And the well is big enough for a night's worth of humidifying. Not that we've had this problem yet, since we just got this humidifier, but I would highly recommend using distilled water in any humidifier. This will drastically cut down on the amount of cleaning and maintenance you will have to do. In all, I would recommend this product to friends and family.

    Awkward refill, but large capacity

This puts out a good amount of moisture, and the large capacity tank lasts for a long time between refills, but it really needs to last for awhile because it's so awkward to refill. You have to hold the tank upside down, and it's not symmetrical. You can't balance it easily with one hand, and it won't fit under most bathroom sinks - at least it won't fit under any of mine. You either need a very tall faucet like you normally find in the kitchen, or you need to use a separate pitcher or other container to pour water from. Not great when you're trying to humidify an upstairs bedroom and the kitchen is downstairs. Since it's so hard to balance upside down in one hand, good luck filling it by yourself from a pitcher. it comes with two different nozzles that can be positioned to point the mist in any direction. One nozzle sprays in one direction; the other sprays in two opposite directions to more easily humidify a large space. However, there are no directions on how to change the nozzle out. I ended up prying it out with a bobby pin. You can have have it light up with either a blue, green, or red light, or no light at all. It's also pretty quiet.

    Fine Humidifier For Small/Medium Rooms

Ultrasonic humidifiers add moisture to dry environments by aerosolizing water and allowing it to escape into the exterior space - an alternative to other options that rely on heated water to produce steam. The one gallon tank supplies enough water to produce a fine stream of mist for a couple days at lower settings, but it won't last 24 hours at the highest setting. Comes with two distribution nozzles - one which projects in a single direction and one which projects through two identical ports in opposite directions. I believe that the only difference is in the direction of distribution and not the quantity of distribution (I don't think the bi-directional nozzle doubles the distribution of aerosolized water). Other products allow the user to infuse the output with fragrances or oils - this unit is not designed for fragrance distribution and any additives will damage it. The unit allows for the clear-ish water tank to be illuminated in soft primary colors - giving it the a peaceful nightlight vibe that might be very appealing. Operation is advertised as "whisper-quiet" but it is probably better described as "silent." Automatic shutoff when the tank is empty. I wasn't a fan of the asymmetrical water reservoir - I found that it made the tank more difficult to support one-handedly when I filled it from the bathtub spigot (filling it in the sink takes forever). A minor gripe, but worth mentioning. Otherwise, this works nicely and would be a great addition in a bedroom this winter if your heat is very dehydrating - something to keep your skin from splitting away from your hands.

I have difficulty sleeping, especially when the air is dry. I wake up with a bloody nose and a dry throat. This works wonderfully! My room humidity went from an unhealthy 10% to a relaxing, comfortable 40%. Easy to fill, and simple to use. No oils or fancy vapor drugs are needed. Just clean water and electricity. I think I’ll get a few more for other rooms as well.
