I bought this CD for my wife. Her musical tastes are different than mine. When she was playing this CD, I discovered that I really liked the songs and I thought that her voice was great. She is coming in concert locally in the next couple of months, and I went out and bought tickets

This is a good album but not as good as I thought it would be. Too pop for my taste.

This is not normally my type of music, but the sound is so nice, that this CD has not left the player in my Jeep since I bought it. I keep going back and listening to it over and over. Who would have thought a 47 year old would enjoy a 17 year old's music ?

I do not regret making this purchase. Lorde's music is very unique in my opinion compared to other artists. It has a sort of "chilling" sound and I was just attracted to it. My favorite song from the album would have to be "Glory and Gore."

This 16 year old Kiwi singer can sing! She has once again proven that Kiwi's can reach #1 on the music charts. Even if it's been awhile since OMC did it with How Bizarre.

Lorde's Pure Heroine is a great CD that features her three songs that have been playing on the radio (Royals, Team, and Tennis Court). The rest of the songs are great as well. Its a great CD that I have really enjoyed listening to.

I heard a few songs on the radio and picked up the CD. I like it overall, its an above average album. The tunes are poppy and catchy, some interesting arrangements. Lyrics don't have a lot of depth in most songs, but its a pop album, didn't expect more. Glad I got it. Kind of reminds me of Adele with an edge.

So, Ib have to admit that my husband really like Lorde. He is the one that requested the purchase. I have not really been a big fan but I am really happy with this CD. There are a number of really good songs on this album.

Great album by newer artist. Music has great variety - all songs do not sound the same. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on this or just download the single I liked and I am glad I bought the album.

I thought that the only song that I would like would be Royals, but most if not all are very good. Glad a I purchased this CD. By the way, I purchased it before Lorde won her Grammies so I look like a genius.

After multiple listens, it's obvious why Royals and Team are the first two singles, as they clearly are the best songs. Still, most of the songs are good enough to hear multiple times, and Lorde's voice -- vocally and lyrically -- is strong throughout. This is a CD worth owning.

Lorde has a very pleasant voice. The vibe of royal is repeated throughout the album. Tennis courts is one of my favorite tracks. The only down side is the album starts itself over only after 38 minutes.

For being 16 when Lorde made this album, I am very impressed with the kind of music that was made. The quality and realness is definitely there in each song. I recommend this album for all music lovers.

I got the album as well recorded I thought it was interesting the compositions were unusual the vocals were rather good not normal leave my style of music but I made an exception for this as I heard several tracks on the radio that I really do like

Music produced throws you in a musical ride!! This is a great Lorde album. Im glad music has found a new jewel. Great amazing vocals.

Lorde has a sound that is very fresh and a voice that has a unique quality. Good variety of songs on the album. Worth the investment of the CD rather than just downloading 1-2 songs.

There is nothing like Lorde. This is so good and speaks to your inner self. Her songs and music are so deep with feeling and emotions, yet playful and funky. Love her style.

This album is amazing top to bottom. It is well crafted album with a light ethereal quality to it. Lorde has a very bright future and hopefully a long career ahead of her.

Had heard bits of her music on the radio and wanted hear more. The rest of her music is just as good. Two thumbs up. The only thing I would change would be the cover art but hey the music is is the bomb. Great value for the cost.

don't buy much new music these days. But really am enjoying this album. Easy to listen to. I think this really is appealing to a wide range of ages. give it a shot
