Lorde is refreshingly new sound. The lyrics are good with and the music is solid. The first 3 tracks are the best in my opinion. The other ones having high points but the don't vary enough from the others to feel unique.

Lorde is great new artist that received 4 Grammy nominations this year and she is only 17. Look forward to seeing her in concert some day soon. Worth a look.

Several tracks have gotten extensive radio play, and those that haven't are equally good. No two good songs and then bleh for the rest of the album here.

I have really enjoyed this album. It sounds great in my BMW and my home system. Attractive voice sort of sounds like Kim Wilde from the 80's. Love it.

I was initially reluctant to purchase thinking the single would be the only redeeming feature, but was pleasantly surprised. The overall quality of the lyrics and the moody beat of the music can be enchanting!

Lorde is one of the most innovative recording artists working today. That is why David Bowie championed her. She is a special creator who will probably grow with each project.

I purchased the album because i sampled it through Best Buy and i was very impressed with the 30 second samples. That I had to hear more and after listening to every song I was very impressed.

After hearing her hit Royals on the radio, I was excited to buy this album, only to find out that Royals is the only good song on there. Everything else just runs together and you can't really tell one song from the next. There's no real stand out sound for any one song. While listening to it on my commute, I found I was almsot tuning it out as it was more background noise than anything. Great if you want something for noise, not so great if you want to sing along to anything, or at least listen to lyrics. Just buy the Royals single and not the album.

Bought at the Twin Falls ID/Magic Valley store as a birthday gift. It was on sale so it was a good price.

I generally don't buy CDs anymore, but after hearing a few of the songs on this disc, I decided to buy it, and it is a great album.

would recommend to others because of the combination of sounds and lyrics is very unique. The tunes are very catchy but modern.

My wife digs the album, so I must have made a wise choice. I hear songs her on the radio a lot, and I haven't heard a bad one yet.

This is an awesome album. All of the songs flow together well and I enjoy the chill vibe throughout the whole thing.

Shes a new kid with a great voice. I thoughly enjoyed listening to her album. Then again I'm old school. Therefore if I buy an album I'm listening to the entire record.

My wife loves this cd. She can listen to it all the way through without skipping a song.

I could listen to this album all day long. Her voice is just energizing.
