This was a "steal" of a deal! Purple Rain AND Fame for only $9.99? How awesome is that? As the world mourned the sudden loss of icon Prince, his most classic and famous movie, Purple Rain, was playing almost endlessly back to back (in some cases) on TV. Purple Rain is truly a classic and a great work. With introductions to Morris Day and The Time and Appolonia, you get a real look at Prince, the artist, in his element. He performs every song from the hit album (and movie title) Purple Rain and he acts....you even see his clever sense of humor. I love watching this movie! This is definitely a must see and must have! By the way, Fame was good too

Prince will truly be missed. Look forward to the after life of new releases ahead from Prince. He will always be in spirit and the soul of his musical gifts that he leaves behind for many to enjoy for many lifetime for the past, the present, and the future. May my Prince rest in peace as we all look to continue to carry on your greatest treasures. Much Love Always P.S. Fame is great added bonus too.

I was so happy when i saw these two movies together. I always wanted fame on dvd. I had purple rain on vhs many years ago. I played this movie soooo much it wouldn't play anymore. It took me a long time to find this movie. I'm glad i found two for the price of one.

Bought this for the wife. She enjoys both movies but especially Purple Rain, as she's a Price fanatic. Either way, a dual pack of movies is always a good thing. Even better when two movies are the same price or cheaper than one.

I really enjoyed Purple Rain with Prince. The movie was great and I loved the music. I recommend this movie to anyone that is a Prince fan. I did not enjoy the Fame movie and found it boring and just turned it off. lol.

Getting the 2 discs was great. It was a great deal. But i got it mostly for the Purple Rain movie. I have been a fan of Prince from the start. Played it almost every night right after receiving it. I just can't ever get enough of prince.

This movie was a bit over acted but it is the best soundtrack the Prince ever made! Every single song jams back in the 80s as it still does now !

Both movies are classics to anyone who was a teenager or the younger sibling of a teenager in the 80's. Nice to get to check them out again.

I thought I had this movie on DVD, when Prince passed away I wanted it for my collection of his movies to go with his music that I have.

I've never seen these movies, but my mom has as this was a gift for her. She liked Prince and said these movies were really good.

hard to believe Prince is no longer with us. He was so giving in his musical performance. Perfection and wonderful singer!
