Brand of batteries made this set unworkable

When we opened the battery compartment of the transmitter, it contained battery acid and no longer worked. I returned it and received a replacement. The same thing happened again. I am returning it and do not want another one. Change where you purchase your batteries. I used the ones that came with the set.

Don't buy this system.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return the first time because of defective mic transmitter-receiver and now the newer belt transmitter does not work because of design and construction flaws in the internal connections of the battery. I took my unit apart to figure this out so I cannot return it, but I may be able to adapt to make it work.

Wireless lapel mic

Also, it’s output signal was very weak; had to have volume turned all the way up to hear it. Traded for UHF unit at higher cost but worth it.
