What Quadrophenia was meant to be!

I only recently became introduced to the entire Quadrophena album, after only hearing a few tracks throughout the years. I always heard the Tommy was their crowning achievement, and never gave Quadrophia a chance. Not only is this the best Who album, the story is much more relatable than Tommy. Unfortunately production problems plagued the tour, and it did not achieve Tommy's fame. This concert is what Quadrophenia was meant to be, and even though Moony and the Ox are no longer with us, Roger and Pete have assembled amazing musicians that bring back that spirit and really make the albums sound amazing live. The tributes to their fallen brothers on this bru ray will bring tears to your eyes. Excellent footage, and awesome audio quality! The only extras here are the encore songs, and it would have been nice to have some updated interviews or perhaps a production doc on the tour and album.

While a little past their prime, The two remaining members of the Who pull a great band together and perform a blistering rendition of their Quadrophenia album in full. If you're looking for a greatest hits live show, this isn't it (although their encore does include a few). But if you want the Who at their current best, you can't do better than this.

Dad wanted to receive this DVD as a gift and immediately thought of going to Best Buy to pick it up. Went right for the new releases rack and purchased it with ease. Everything he could have asked for from the band at this point of their career. Great sound and picture quality

The Who take Quadrophenia out for another spin, like in 1996 and it wows the senses. Brilliant sytory line with visons put together by Roger Daltery make it a semsation to watch and enjoy.

Best WHO DVD in term of audio quality. They almost never show the other band members because they are not original members of the band. The band that they put together for this concert is exceptional!
