Decent steelbook with a simple but clean design. Looks nice when placed with the other Bond steelbooks in the 4K collection. Film is in 4K but special features are only on the standard blu ray disc. Having the film and features all in 4K would've been nice but that's likely going to be reserved for a future release.

The worst Craig Bond, but..it's still fun to watch

Definitely my least favorite "craig" bond and frankly, it's definitely in the list of the worst Bond films ever along with Die Another Day. However, it's still a decent action flick with some great action scenes. The opening car chase scene is still one of the greatest action pieces in the Bond film and the ending shootout is pretty cool too. However, as a direct sequel to Casino Royale, it's absolutely laughable.

The opening action car chase was spectacular but went by so fast it was hard to tell what was going on. Daniel Craig is a good Bond and the women, as usual, were beautiful, especially Olga Kurylenko. The plot was absurd and stupid. The nods to Bond's toys from the past was fun nostalgia but hard to sustain an entire film. Video quality was great, however. Recommended for Bond aficionados only.

This is a direct sequel to Casino Royal. You should watch this right after. It makes much more sense. It's almost like watching one movie. The steel book packaging is nice, but all of the notes are on cardboard on the back of the case. So you can't throw that away. They should make this as an insert inside the case. Wouldn't buy a package like this again, because of this.

Quantum of Solace is a direct sequel to Casino Royale, ditching the usual backstory elements for a direct jump in the plot to further explore the disastrous events at the end of the previous film. Craig is again a modern Bond, punching and shooting the way to his target. And while it isn't as great as Casino Royale, it still has a lot to offer action fans.

I owned all three Daniel Craig Bonds already, but I love steelbooks, and when I heard this was coming to steelbook I made it a must have. This isn't Daniel Craigs fault for this Bond not being on par with the others. The writers strike at the time hurt the script but I still find the movie extremely entertaining. Daniel Craig is a top 2 Bond of all time.

I think that "Quantum of Solace" was once again one of the greatest James Bond films of all-time and it also quickly became one of my many favorite James Bond films of all-time. These films are very entertaining and enjoyable and always have a lot of action, mystery, suspense and personal drama including really great casts, plots and storylines as well.

It hurt me to only give this new Bond flick 3 stars-I wanted to love it as I did Casino Royale-but in comparison to that this just failed. The section sequences were grand and well put together and I'm still convinced Daniel Craig is the best Bond to date, but the fact this movie felt like a section of something bigger just hurt it for me. I liked the continuation from Casino Royale, Im glad we found out what was going on, but it just felt like there should have been more to it-the absence of a true Bond girl didn't help either, Strawberry Fields felt like more of an obligation than part of the story. Some positive things though are that this Bond is evolving from eager rookie to a more mature killer, but the latter seems to be coming in the next film as shown in the last scene of Quantum. I liked this film, it was above par to many action films lately, but in comparison with its predecessor, it had nothing on it.

While Quantum of Solace is not the best Bond movie, it is a direct sequel to Casino Royale. I still think that it is pretty good. If you don't already own a copy of the movie on blu-ray, I recommend the steelbook if you are a collector. If not, UHD blu-ray is around the corner. Beware of dents and scratches on steelbooks!

I find the Bond films lacking since Sean C,. lost his "00" number. Sir R. Moore had potential but when the toy stores started with the 007 action figures and an opening scene theme offered the viewer an old Beach Boy favorite the films became "G" rated hitting an all time low with Jaws' space station love affair in "Moonraker." An anticlimactic end to a potentially successful Ian Fleming invention.
With the new Bond, Daniel Craig, performing the lead here, there was a possibility of a rugged resurrection of something entertaining for the mature adults. However, even this adult (re)viewer from San Francisco soon tired of the shirtless scenes and another frantic high-speed foot chase rapidly becoming the trade mark of Mr. Craig's director and story writer.
The time is right for an older Bond who might rely upon his thinking abilities instead of shoot outs, underwater autos, and other science fiction gadgets.

Like most people I was a little let down the first time I watched this but after recently seeing it again, I have a different opinion. I think that for the overall story they were trying to tell, this was a necessary change in pace and storytelling that had to be done in order for Skyfall to be as powerful as it was.

The second Daniel Craig outing as bond and a direct sequel to his first bond film Casino Royale. This is Daniel Craigs shortest bond outing at a mere 106 minutes so the story is a bit more compact. The steelbook has a silhouette of a man (Bond) firing across the front with a large cloud spreading across the cover.

but this film aint all that bad. It's also one of the shorter Bond films with pure action. Out of all the action scenes, the opening chase sequence is one of the most memorable. I don't see a difference in video quality from the original release on blu ray, but the steel book adds a nice to the collection.

Okay,
Saw this first in theaters and enjoyed it. Yeah, not quite as engaging as Casino Royale, but very nice work. I've had a DVD copy, and the Blu Ray is a solid upgrade. Have to rewatch the behind the scenes stuff, but definitely liked the featurettes the first time around. Good song as well by Jack White and Alicia Keyes.

I am a fan of all of his bond movies. This one I would say is last on the list. With that said it is still a great movie I just have the other three rated before this one this one does have a pretty good plot and great action as well as other ones. Worth a watch if you're a fan of James Bond and a fan of his.

Always looking for more Bond Steelbooks.. I picked up this on sale. Nice Steelbook. Though the Art work could be a little more creative rather then just Daniel Craigs pic. Thus the 4 stars. The 4K transfer itself is fine.

The collectible steelbook case for this movie is amazing! Great for the Bond fan or to those who haven't bought this movie yet. Quantum of Solace directly follows the events of Casino Royale. Bond finds closure for himself after the death of Vesper. The movie is good, but not the greatest Bond film.

Another great James Bond featuring Daniel Craig as 007.pound for pound Daniel Craig is the best "James Bond" to date.Beliviability has always been a problem with me about the 007 movies but the Daniel Craig versions have made a true believer out of me! You can't watch a better spy movie then this one .

Picked this up for $3.33 (3 for $10 DVD bin) at Best Buy. No extras or special features but another hard hitting and action packed Daniel Craig Bond era movie. Mr. White, one of the villains in Quantum, is referenced in Spectre and there is a crazy boat race scene with some awesome stunts.
