These special heat seal bags are specifically for the FoodSaver vacuum system. They work great and keep food much fresher. However, you have to be careful when seal time comes to make sure the area that will be sealed isn't greasy or wet. That can interfere with the device's ability to seal properly.

I got these for "practice" for first time use with the sealer....since I have never had a sealer before wanted to make sure I was doing this right....I feel not a bad purchase for first time users and wanting to learn about their sealer

My wife loves her Foodsaver but was having trouble finding replacement bags for it, these are premise which makes repackaging of food easier, great price.

It is great to be able to store foods in less space that hard sided containers require. Easy to seal, and to retrieve when wanted. Keeps foods fresher than in other containers.

I often buy food, especially meats, in bulk and then vacuum pack and freeze them. Having bags that are precut and presealed on one side saves me a lot of time.

I got this on sale so I think it was worth the price. It's easy to use but the bags and/or rolls are expensive and it takes a little while to figure out how big to make them so they seal properly. The sealed packages are great and keep meat very fresh for months. Allows me to buy in bulk and save money.
