The Roots Collection is not complete without Alex Haley's Queen! A true moving tale of the woes of a black mother trying to protect her family from the hardships of reconstruction in the SE GA area, Queen is one more chapter the the Saga of the Alex Haley family. GREAT MOVIE!

Bravo and magnificent production of the spin-off of Roots. I encourage everyone to add this movie to their collection. It will not disappoint.

The movie is a wonderful story of a true persons struggles with adjusting to after freedom times. She looks like a white woman so they think that. Halle Berrys performance is so riviting and convincing. The movie may be a little questionable for small children due to the nature of some of the graphic of language and the hanging scenes. It allows you to be grateful to live in this day and time, and also it allows you to think. Alex Hailey is a wonderful writer and all his storys are so vivd it taps into your imajination. I give it 2 thumbs and it is worth every penny!! So bing your box of kleenex and some popcorn and you will be ready for a great time!! I recommened it!!!

This is a very good movie i remember watching it as a child back in 1992 and sixteen years later i got it on dvd. I look for this movie for years and I could not find it and when I did it was priced to high at the time I think hallie berry gives an outstanding proformance and this to me is one of her best movies and im a big fan of hers but this to me is the movie that really made me notice her as a actress. If you like roots then you will like this even more.

I've been looking for this movie forever!!!!!! I am so glad that the movie was released this year! I nearly fell over when I saw it online. The is one of my best buys ever!!!

I love this movie, every since it came out in 1993. It's one of those classic movies you can always go back and watch and never get tired of it.
