Just got the Quest 3 512GB and dude, it’s a total game-changer compared to my old Quest 2 everything looks insanely crisp, the colors pop, and the full-color passthrough actually makes mixed reality stuff feel legit instead of a blurry mess. Hand tracking is so good now I barely touch the controllers anymore, and 512GB means I’m not constantly deleting games to make room. Straight 9/10 and worth every penny.

This is a huge step up from the Quest 1. I was one of those that bought a Quest 1 two months before the Quest 2 came out. I have waited three years for this. It is pretty awesome. All of my games work better than ever and the play pass is a pretty good deal at 6 months free. 100% can tell they made the head strap as annoying as possible to upsell the Elite Strap, but it is what it is. Overall really pleased.

I am pleased with the quality. Excellent mixed reality feature which gives the ability to see my environment while being able to access multiple screens for a smooth workflow.

My grading scale of a standalone VR headset is based almost entirely around Beat Saber. The game demands precise tracking in less than a second at some difficulties and songs. For what it's worth, this is the best standalone VR headset out there but it is not ready for Expert difficulty or higher in Beat Saber. Some songs that are in the "Easier Expert" category such as the starting songs will be fine. Past this and almost all expansions' songs at Expert, it has trouble keeping up. Also this headset has the most slippery controllers out there. There's a certain texture on the controller to provide a grip without being noticeable, but it is not nearly sufficient to keep the controllers from slipping out of your hands. The controller's battery door is very fragile. I dropped one of the controllers onto a rug and now the door is always **slightly** loose. Not loose enough to pop off, but loose enough to where I feel the door jiggle during gameplay. Battery life is great. I tend to hop into Beat Saber for about 20-30 minutes at a time, and I usually only use up about 16-24% of the battery. Comfort is fine. I'm still of the opinion that all VR headsets are uncomfortable as a feature of it, but this is on the better side. Overall a fantastic product but inside-out tracking still needs some help.

Complete difference in quality from previous version. The upgraded processor or chip makes a massive diffrence in frame rate quality, resolution, and game play. Elite strap add on is worth it. Totally worth the coin in the end. Bought the 512gb version. Would by again. Only complaint would be battery life isn't great but doesn't suck. Last about 2 hrs in game play.

A worthy upgrade to the quest 2. I originally purchased the quest Pro and ultimately returned it, with the over all assessment that it missed the mark with upgrade/value ratio. The quest 3 on the other hand achieved an upgrade that increased the resolution by 30%, reduced the profile drastically, doubled the processing power and incorporated pancake lenses further improving the optics. I have owned the quest 2 since the day it came out and it has provided countless hours of social fun and entertainment which has been an incredible value. The quest 3 is " that much better" and my quest 2 is available for guest players going foward. After market head strap is a must, AMVR faceplate is recommended.

The Quest 3 delivered on the expectations we set for the product based on various Youtube reviews. The resolution and field of view compared to the last headset we had (the original Oculus Rift) is really impressive. We're currently using it mostly for MS Simulator on an RTX 3080 and it's been a blast at a mix of high to ultra settings. While the image resolution is outstanding, the passthrough video coming from the external camera is ok. It's passable, but can get a little grainy in low light. Maybe someday future versions will have a camera quality to match the resolution that the display is capable of and that other content is presented in. Other than that, excellent product!

The graphics and resolution are amazing. I do find the headset to be much heavier then the Meta quest 2. The controllers aren’t as comfortable as the old style as well. It’s extremely submersible and if you have any motion sickness problem, this isn’t for you. The upgrades are the lenses which I appreciate the clarity and the sound and volume are much more engaging. I love working out with this. I had to buy a comfortable head strap and mask eye piece. The strap and eye mark it comes with are horrible and uncomfortable. I ordered hand grips as well since the controllers are much more uncomfortable.

I've had 2x oculus rift PC VR headsets over the years and this was my first standalone headset purchase. I honestly only purchased the headset because of quest link and being able to use it as standalone or PC VR. The visuals for this headset are far superior to that of the rift that I owned, it looks absolutely gorgeous and very clear. The new pancake lenses are 1000% percent better than the old style lenses. The head strap that comes with the headset is complete garbage and very uncomfortable so purchasing a new one is pretty much necessary... Overall I'm happy with the purchase but a bit disappointed I'm the performance of PC VR via quest link... It definitely needs some improvements. Biggest disappointment for me was the pass through on the device. It is really cool the things you can do in AR but the pass through does not look nearly as good as they make it look, I'm lower lighting the image is extremely grainy but in will lit room looks a little better but still not that great. Also there's warping in the image which looks pretty bad at times. Wish the cameras were higher quality as it would make the experience much better If I were to go back I probably would have invested in a new PC VR headset instead but overall I'm fairly happy with the purchase.

I bought this just for watching movies cause i get motion sickness for games but i love the movie watching whether u use the bigscreen vr app or the internet brower for it screens are huge great quality for lcd

My son loves it. The only thing on his XMAS list this year.

Super fun and easy to use. Controller-less use is simplistic but cool when I don’t have the controllers at hand. My only problem is meta itself and the whole horizon app. It’s like a wannabe Roblox that’s forever built into the device. Link cable hasn’t worked yet but I’m not sure if there is any benefit to it. Don’t expect crazy clarity or performance when not plugged in, and 5G WiFi is necessary for SteamVR. Still I find enjoyment in plenty of VR games and media like YouTube.
