Best Buy's prices are fantastic, especially compared to its Apple competitor, at >$3,500 seven times as much. But I have spent hours on the Meta Quest 3 and still do not know how to see what I want or move my character in a game.

The pass through is amazing and so much nicer to use than the quest 2. I highly recommend it.

I personally have used the original oculus for years and this is the newest vr system I have bought, I have been watching the vr market and techs specs for years now. This was a very good purchase it has phenomenal video refresh rate and clear vision. And best of all the controller tracking is amazing especially taking into fact that there is no tracking cameras apart from the vr system it is all integrated into the system. Also the ar/ hand tracking( hand tracking without a controller) was impressive and responsive.

Partly because I had the first Oculus and there’s no noticeable improvement for me at least. I also run title on a 240Hz OLED screen so that may also be why I wasn’t impressed. I tired both AirLink and the Meta link cable to connect to PC. When I got the cable I realized this VR was never meant to be paired with a PC as the cable had a USB A connection which isn’t optimal for Video Input. If it was a direct DP/HDMI to a mini HDMI port on the VR this would’ve utilized the full power of the 4080S GPU

Great VR headset

One great thing is that it is standalone, but also can be plugged into a computer for Steam VR. You can also use sidequest to expand the apps available to you. This is my 2nd VR headset as had a HTC Vive before this. But it's so freeing to be able to take it with me places

HUGE Upgrade from Quest 2
