My kids have fun using the meta quest and virtual life

good fun only downside most games or experiences are memberships

If I can figure out how to play certain games, it should be fun.

It was great just wish I didn’t get dizzy with it on

My 10 year old loves it! I did have a little trouble with the download of the purchase with the game that was suppose to came with the headset. If I do not get this resolved soon I will return the device.

Controllers to sensitive, get damage really fast recommend to get insurance just in case

No worth the hype. I bought it for Christmas we have only used it once maybe twice max I would love to return it but I have pass the window.

It was great for a few months but now trying to get it replaced with warranty of geek squad.

Was looking forward to our first VR set, unfortunately it did not live up to the expectation. The lens need a very specific sweet spot to avoid distortion of the image.

This is the cheaper version of the Meta Quest 3. It is indeed lighter and slimmer but it has shorter battery life and less resolution compared to the Quest 3. It also costs less. It has less view field but still an upgrade from my old Quest 2. The controllers are more responsive, the processor is faster the OS is smoother and the whole VR experience is better. The Meta Quest 3S supports WIFI 6E which is indeed faster connection to the internet. My pros and cons: Pros: Lighter weight. Slimmer design. Faster connection and good refresh rate. Cheaper than the Quest 3. Very good processor. Supporting all loads without issues. Nice surrounding cameras and good responding controllers. Improved straps and more comfortable wearing for long time use. Cons: Mostly when compared to the 3S: Less refresh rate and narrower view field. Battery life is shorter. I get about 2H at best. Overall, it is an affordable approach to VR experience. Slim and light to be used from time to time. A good upgrade from Quest 2 but not as powerful and good as Quest 3. It could be a good choice if you are not willing to pay the full price for the 3. I'd recommend it for multiple uses. I use it sometimes to watch movies or just to have a relaxing time. Gaming is indeed a different experience. It supports several games. They are all well functioning. It would make a nice gift or just a good addition to your equipment.

The Batman game was not included and this device was way too expensive.

Here are some highlights: Batman: Arkham VR Sliding on the headset and stepping into Batman's boots was a dream come true. Exploring the Batcave and solving mysteries in Gotham felt incredibly realistic. The motion tracking is spot-on, and the dark atmosphere pulls you right in. I was Batman, and for those precious minutes, I forgot the real world existed. Gorilla Tag If you want pure chaos and fun, Gorilla Tag is a must-play. I was blown away the first time I used the Meta Quest 3s. This is my first VR headset. In the past I had family that had first gen sets that used your phone to simulate VR. And that would hurt my eyes after a few minutes and I really didn’t care for it. The Meta 3s fits any and all sizes and shapes comfortably. Virtually no short term eye strain. However, there is a little after 30 plus minutes of use. It takes a few minutes for your eyes to readjust. Included with the unit is a glasses adapter that I installed without issue. This is perfect, when I am using the Meta my glasses are not smashed into my eyes or they don’t feel like they are being pushed down on my nose. The sound is very impressive with speakers near your ears. When I first booted, I made an account and did the walkthrough which was extremely helpful. The included dual controllers are very easy to use. When you put them down and hold up your hands they too can be used to control the Meta. I always wondered how people could have a safe zone so you wouldn’t hit anything or fall. Meta takes care of that. When you go Immersive the first thing it does is map out a zone for you. After confirming it, anytime you step out of the zone. The Meta turns off the immersive zone and you are able to see your surroundings. Once back in the zone, Immersive turns back on. The included free Batman Game is very cool. This game will help you become more comfortable with the Meta with the use of the controllers and hand. The main screen is basically a PC OS with browsing, settings, the Meta store for apps (tons of free stuff) I was also floored watching TV and movies. You can set it up anywhere in your viewing area and resize the screen. This is a neat feature for those that like to multitask. You can open other items and work or play as the movie or video is playing. You can even remote into your desktop. I love the concert or sporting event videos. You really feel like you have a front seat and are there. As it has a slight 3d effect. The battery life is a little short and only work for a few hours before needing recharged. But this is about the right amount of time to let your eyes have a break. The dual hand controllers also have batteries that have to be replaced. The Horizon worlds are a very neat little area where you can further get used to the VR and controller with cute little games, you can even go to different themed rooms and meet people or groups. I am very impressed and can’t wait to see what all I can do as time goes on with the Meta. I would recommend to family and friends.

Had to return them after numerous attempts to pair with the app. Used Meta Support, completed factory reset several times to no avail. Very disappointing on Christmas morning and over the next 3 days as we tried and tried to get it to work.

I want to preface that I have never been exposed to Virtual Reality and my experience with the Meta Quest 3S was my first time. The unboxing was very simple and nicely packaged. The headset itself is really well built and was super easy to adjust to fit my head. Inside the box, Meta kindly includes a glasses spacer which is very easy to put on. For those that wear glasses, you will enjoy and find comfort with this. The setup process really blew my mind especially being my first exposure to VR. Having the ability to see everything around and in front of me but also setting up the device with a separate screen that was feet away from me was nuts. Meta also walks you through how to use the device and also switch off Field of View so you are surrounded in a virtual world. This part was absolutely incredible being inside of this gorgeous high resolution virtual world. I started by playing ping pong and was beyond impressed with it because the Meta Quest 3S seriously made me feel like I was playing ping pong in a VR world. The battery life for the device was also pretty good (I did not time it exactly but I played for a few hours before having issues). I also did not feel or get nauseous using this device but I did have to get used to it. The headset came with Batman Arkham Shadow which is pretty neat...if you have never used VR you kind of feel like a 1st person Batman. It is pretty wild. The eye portion of the device can be adjusted left or right to really fine tune your face and comfort. I have to get used to the controllers still because I am used to a PlayStation style controller but it is still fantastic. I love the Meta Horizon app that accompanies the device. It is extremely easy to pair with the headset and it is great at automatically downloading apps or games. The library is great. I highly recommend watching youtube or movies on the Meta Quest. The sound is fantastic and almost feels surround sound. However, the idea that you can have this headset on and watch a film on what feels like a movie theater screen is impossible for me to describe unless you try it. It is remarkable and I am so excited that this was my first time using VR. I HIGHLY recommend the Meta Quest 3s and family of products.

Heavy and blurry on the eyes. For the amount of money and the tech it should be crystal clear not a constant fuzz it wears on your eyes.

This is my second VR set that I have had in the last 5 years. My first experience was with an Oculus and I thought it was pretty good 5 years ago. This Meta Quest 3S has come a long way from the Oculus days in quality and price! Right out of the box you will notice how light weight it is, which is important if you plan to use it for at least a couple of hours. Even though it is lightweight, you can tell that you have a quality product in your hands. One major difference that I noticed from my last VR headset is that it comes with a glasses spacer. I normally wear contacts, but after a long day, I like to wear glasses. Having the glasses spacer makes it comfortable to wear glasses while using the VR headset. One of the first things you want to do is to download the Meta Horizon app. This is where you can access the extensive library that Meta offers. After fully charging the headset, it lasted a good 2 hours. There is so much to explore with the library. I simply can't get over all of the options that you can enjoy with this Meta Quest 3S. I spent the first hour just exploring and making notes of everything that I want to try out. The second hour I spent playing the Batman Arkham game. The video game experience was just mind-blowing. I really felt like I was Batman in this game! This is what you always dreamed of playing games as a little kid and now it is reality. On my second charge, I spent it watching some of my favorite shows and movies. I really loved having the option to go Netflix, Prime Video or Disney+ to watch on the large simulated screen. Another big difference that I noticed from my last VR set is the hand controller set. They are way more accurate and very intuitive and easy to manipulate when you are gaming. Overall, I am extremely please with this Meta Quest 3s. It is lightweight, easy to set up and easy to start accessing the extensive library once you get the account set up. I love that this device offers much more than just gaming. This is another great option for gaming and consuming video at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this VR headset if you are shopping around other options.
