No longer worth it

Been a Quicken user since the 80’s but the program just isn’t worth the money and hassle of problems connecting to existing accounts. Also, I’ve been finding that more and more institutions don’t offer Quicken download so you’d have to do it manually. There are plenty of free options out there to see your finances at a glance.

Bait and Switch... new customer only. Not in the title. Quicken is overcharging for their product. The sale price is decent enough to make the purchase, but only if you are a new customer. How many new customers do they get now a days with online options like Personal Capital offering so much more?

Don't bother with this garbage. The product doesn't mention anything about "new Subscribers" only. "Quicken - Deluxe Personal Finance (1-Year Subscription) - Mac OS, Windows [Digital]" You have to click on the picture thumbnail to see it, or do like I did, buy it, try to install it, and get an error message saying "This product key is for new subscribers only". Should be clearly stated, not on a small picture for self-investigation.
