If you are already not a long-time Quicken user, I would recommend not getting started with Quicken because it is now a subscription service so you are forced to upgrade every year if you want to download transactions.

This is a very good tax prep program. I have used it for years. Easy to use.

I have used Quicken since 1994. It has provided everything I've needed to support my investments, savings, loans, mortgages, and checking accounts as well as supporting my retirement planning, savings planning and budgeting. I preferred the old purchase every 3 years option but understand the need for annual subscriptions to be able to maintain the software. I have not found any other single software that covers everything I use Quicken Premier for.

I'm somewhat locked into Quicken to keep all my accounts up to date so when the annual subscription renewal was up, I was looking for best price to renew. Getting the product through Best Buy was the best option. Shipping was fast and putting in activation code renewed for another year. Thanks BB

Great value for one year subscription on Quicken Premier edition. Can be used for initial install or to extend existing subscription.

Excellent product for managing the finance. Easy to use. Help in budgeting and detailed reports.

I have been using Quicken for the past 20 years and it is very helpful.

I have been using Quicken to manage my finances and investments for over 20 years. When Intuit spun off Quicken and the new company went to a subscription model, I was rather dismayed. Quicken features don't change much and updating every 2-3 years seemed to work well. But the new subscription model brought much better support, much faster resolution of bugs, and real cloud and mobile support. I've actually been very pleased with the changes in policy, making the new subscription model worthwhile.

Been using Quicken for a long time, ever since MS Money stopped being supported. For most part it's been good, seems to be better as of late. For my needs it's plenty fine and gives me all my info in an organized way.

Great software because quite honestly, there really isn't competition but one or two others. This software has it's quirks but there are usually workarounds. Will check out reviews of competition during the year to be sure it is still the best available.

I've used Quicken since it first came out. I am very unhappy that it is now a subscription model. Not only that, Quicken offers discounts to new subscribers, but hits current subscribers with only full price. I also had to opt for the expensive Premier edition to get the services I need. As far as what it does, basic transactions are handled well. I have had problems trying to balance accounts where more complex transactions have occurred. e.g. mergers, buy-outs. If there were a comparable product that was not subscription based, I would switch. Right now I am stuck with Quicken,

Long long time user of quicken. I don’t love it and I hate the subscription model which forces me to pay every year. But there is not a better product available.

I might have given this four stars, but the learning curve from my 2015 edition to this one has been challenging. I have found the built in help topics to less helpful than querying information from the internet.

This is a superior product , well worth the price.

As a long time user I am not sure it is much of an upgrade from 2017 as opposed to a software as a service license agreement but the Data conversion And update was flawless. Still best personal finance software Alberti at a much higher annual price

I've used quicken for years. Hopefully one of these days this will become online only (with a reasonable ios/android app); especially now that it is a subscription based product.

I have used Ouicken as my budgeting program for quit a few years. It keeps me on track to know where my money is going and if I am over budget so I can adjust my spending. It also gives me a birds eye view of all my financial accounts, especially credit and debit for fraudulent transactions so they can be reported quickly.
