I love that I can start and stop the sprinklers from anywhere. The automatic shutdown when the weather station detects or predicts rain is awesome as well. Installation was pretty straightforward.

I purchased this to replace my original controller. Setup was easy enough. The program to operate the controller is easy to use. Overall I like it VERY WELL.

Looking for an easy way to keep track of your lawn watering? This is it! It's never been so easy. Ditch that old Rainbird and get up to date with Rachio! This thing allows you to set schedules for watering that focus on all areas of your yard down to just a specific area. It let's you set the amount of run time your watering runs for or you can let it set automatically. It also connects with the closest weather station to read when it should and shouldn't water. It's never been so easy to make sure your lawn is getting the water it needs.

Installation consisted moving eight colored zone wires and one white neutral from the old timer to the Rachio. The Rachio push-in connectors made this easy to do. The Rachio app on my iPhone got me hooked up to my router quickly, and I was running the system within an hour out of the box. Note: I had previously used my iPhone to test that there sufficient bars at the place in the garage where the Rachio unit was to be mounted. Love this device. I can control my watering without having to wander back and forth from the garage.

really recommend this product. it is very convinient to be able to control your system and have it fully automated via phone. it programs itself with better watering settings for different seasons. i also got a rebate via my local water utility. cool system!

This controller is awesome. It only took about 5 min to install and the setup is all done through your smartphone. It is very intuitive and easy. I get alerts on my phone when a cycle is run or skipped. I can see the status of the system at my fingertips from anywhere in the world. you can also see cool data like your estimated soil saturation levels in your different zones which is based on your watering schedule as well as recent weather events. Overall its been a great buy and very useful tool to help save me money and keep me connected.

I studied most of the available smart sprinkler in the market and found this one the best. I love the fully automated planning mode, and ability to check the status while even I am not at home. I also had a great experience with their customer support. One of the terminal taps broke during installation, and I contacted them for support. I received the replacement unit in 48 hours!

I love this product as it makes managing the sprinkler a breeze. In the past I was always manually cutting the system off during heavy weeks of rain and forgetting to turn it back on (not a good idea in Houston). Now I just forget about the sprinkler all together and it basically manages itself. The only thing I do now is periodically turn off a session if I don't think it needs water. This is super easy because it sends an alert to my phone each watering session and I simply open the app and stop the watering. This thing is pretty much fool proof and is well worth the money.

Online weather forecast saved me tons of water. I can manually water my laws when I am on vacation on the other side of the world. The added bonus is I will know when my house is out of power.

Very easy to setup and scheduling is awesome. I was able to get the whole thing paid for by my water provider since it helps conserve water by not watering if it rains.

This was very easy to install into an existing system and really quick to program. It combines with other home automation accessories which is an interesting feature. I picked the 8 zone controller because the 16 zone unit was way more zones than I would ever need. Easy to program and since it reacts to the weather, I never have the problem of watering in the rain.

This smart Rachio sprinkler controller is the best thing I bought. I could control the sprinkler system from anywhere through the Rachio application. This is true to their statements and it regulates the schedule based on the weather in your area. I fully recommend this product.

replaced my old rainbird, which would never keep its program when the power went out. With rachio I can program from anywhere. it also lets me know when the sprinklers are on which is important during a drought

Excellent Product. Easy to set up and works great. Primarily bought it to use in combination with water misters installed in outdoor dog kennel. I am using outdoor temperature sensor linked to smartthings and Stringify flows to activate Rachio Zones based on the outdoor temperatures.
