It has been decades since I last saw Rain Man, and it still is such a good movie! Tom Cruise as an unlikable, upset son/brother, that works his way into being more likable by the end of the movie and Dustin Hoffmann does an amazing job portraying an autistic older brother. Relive the movie you loved many years ago!

Not too bad. Probably one of the more encouraging interpretations of being around someone with autism. Definitely worth a watch.

Timeless movie for sure. My husband saw it in Blu-ray and grabbed it immediately. Seriously you can never go wrong with a movie that has Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise in it. I would think younger generations could still enjoy this movie even if it's not from there era. I loved it.

I have to admit, this purchase was an impulse purchase. In other words, I wasn't looking to buy the DVD- Rain Man- when I was shopping at Best Buy this particular day but it was in a bin of movies for $5 and I had seen the movie long ago and loved it so I thought it was a deal and bought it.

Rain man is an incredible story with two outstanding performances by Hoffman and Cruise. Funny, heartbreaking, and uplifting throughout. Add this movie to your bucket list if you havent seen it already!

When I first heard of the remaster I thought that the available release looked great to begin with. After seeing this release its more stable and has a nicer grain field. Good extras as before. Current price on sale is a steal. Happily double dipped.

I have worked with people who are autistic, and Dustin Hoffman 's portrayal was eerily realistic. His physical mannerisms, as well as his tone of voice made me forget that he was acting. Tom Cruise's sense of helplessness and loss was particularly poignant.

This movie has stood the test of time! I enjoyed it as much now as I had years ago when it first came out. Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise are excellent and the story is heartwarming with many humorous moments. Highly recommend!!

One of my favorite movies all time and Tom Cruise's best performance (IMO). The quality is decent in blu-ray as well. Overall, this is well worth the $6.00 price tag.

Dustin Hoffman is unforgettable in this 80's classic. I still use lines of his to this day. Haven't watch the blu-ray version yet, so I can't describe the difference of the two. I'll check it out on the next raining day and post an update.

Wow. What a movie! Great story. Great actors. Watch tom cruise go from being the careless tuff guy who wants his fathers fortune, to becoming the kind hearted man who just wants to take care of his brother. Great great great movie.

Great classic movie. The video and sound quality of the blu-ray are excellent. I just love Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman in this movie. A must have for any fan of 80's movies.

This movie has always been a favorite of mine. What a better way to see it than on the bluray version. As it's been remastered, it doesn't look "grainy" at all. I'd recommend it for the price and overall be an awesome movie!

I have seen this movie several times, although, I usually only watch a movie once, I can't help myself with this one. The acting is incredible, you believe who they are portraying. Well done old movie!

It was an impulse purchase after running to Best Buy for All Time Low's "Future Hearts." I'm glad I picked it up, I had the film on VHS a long time ago but lost it...happy it have it in my movie library again.

Tom and Dustin were both great on this movie. This is a 1988 classic that never gets old. You will enjoy this movie in a journey they'll never forget.

Years ago, I never would've thought this film would ever date. It has dated a bit, but not by much. The performances and the script are still wonderful and the film itself is still something to marvel.

Barry Levinson's Rain Man has long been one of my favorite films, and this pristine Blu-Ray transfer is worth purchasing for your collection!

I don't know if I needed to upgrade my DVD copy to blu-ray, but the picture quality is definitely better and I was a big fan of the soundtrack and the music sounds great. Unfortunately I thought I bought this at $4.99 and my receipt said $14.99 -- bonehead move on my part. Anyhow, it's a great movie so I'm glad I can enjoy it in higher definition than before.

This movie is one of my favorites. It relates to my family because we have a handicapped brother whom we take care of so movie's like these are fun to watch. Tom Cruise does his role so well playing a big brother.
