The movie keeps up with the character development of its two main characters, Ralph and Penelope while offering the wonderment of them exploring a whole new world (for them), the internet. They explore their character flaws of being away from the isolated environment of a video game while also re-exploring the ebbs and flows of being good friends. Many of the supportive characters from the previous movie are here to make their mark as well. In all, it’s roller coaster of pop references on top of watching our main characters flesh out a new experience being in the internet. Recommended.

Ralph and Vanellope are back and this time they have broken the internet. While trying to help Vanellope make Sugar Rush more exciting, the game breaks. The pair venture into to the internet and travel to EBay to get a new steering wheel for Sugar Rush. Vanellope finds there is something even better than Sugar Rush and decides to stay in a racing game called Slaughter Race. Ralph is heartbroken and decides to plant a virus to slow Slaughter Race down so Vanellope would get bored and return back home with him. It backfires and nearly puts an end to the internet

Disney produces another classic that looks and sounds great on regular Blu-ray and is superb on the 4K UHD Format if you have the home theater setup to take advantage of it. For audio enthusiest’s the blu-ray has a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack while the 4K disk has Dolby Atmos. The SteelBook is a BestBuy exclusive and only available with the 4K Blu-ray. The SteelBook looks great & I would recommend you pick up the original Wreck It Ralph 4K BestBuy SteelBook exclusive before they are gone to complete the collectible matching set.

Love Wreck-It Ralph, he's my favorite character. Great cartoon, first one was better but this one was pretty great too. Not too fond of the Princess part, they were all crazy & they made them all sound & act different then in their own movie's. Still a great movie to watch though. (Not part of the movie review but Best Buy puts the blueray & higher priced movie's up front so if you want the non-blueray & normal disc, you have to look around for it cause the employees don't always help you.)

Ralph and Venelope have enjoyed years of friendship and laughs. When Venelope hungers for new experiences her best bud is willing to help her anyway he can. Of course his efforts lead to problems for them both and they work together to make things right. The internet Is a great source for a wild and funny ride with lots of pop culture references and internet glitches and annoyances. In the end Ralph and Venelope face mature decisions that will effect their day to day lives forever.

I really enjoyed the original Wreck-It-Ralph and was hoping that the sequel would be good as well, and I was not disappointed. The move from the video game world to the world of the internet provided so many new opportunities to explore and it is so fun to look for all the eggs and references in the “Oh My Disney” section of the film. Additionally, the story is surprisingly more heartfelt and emotional than I thought it would be. The Blu-ray A/V quality is amazing. There is also a good amount of bonus features on the disc as well as a short additional feature when you redeem the included digital copy. If you enjoyed the first film, this sequel is a worthy addition to your collection.

"Ralph Breaks the Internet" continues the adventures of Wreck-It-Ralph and Vanellope, as they delve into the new world of the internet searching for a replacement part for Vanellope's videogame. The exclusive steelbook is a limited edition featuring excellent artwork. The image quality on this UHD release is staggering, with dazzling colors and excellent black levels. Bolstered by a strong Dolby Atmos mix, this is a must-own for all the Disney fans in your household.

I remember watching Wreck It Ralph and definitely enjoying it and knew that if there was a part 2 that I would definitely watch it. I unfortunately was unable to watch it while it was in the theaters and knowing how much I liked the first installment, I figured the second installment would be just as good, if not better. After watching the second installment, I was somewhat disappointed as I didn't find it as entertaining as the first - possibly because I had set my expectations too high but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. Watching this in 4K is a no brainer and if you're a fan of the series and curious to know what the second installment entails, then I highly recommend giving this a try.

Like most sequels, maybe this doesn't live up to the original. Many characters from Wreck-It Ralph barely get a nod here, including Fix-It Felix. However, bringing 80's video game characters into the wonder of today's internet opens up a whole new world, and slew of visual jokes. Enjoy this for the visual treat that it is, and realize you will be pausing repeatedly to try to catch all the gags as the fly by at light speed.

A good, fun film. It's a playful continuation of the characters from the first film, though it does break some of its own "rules" - most notably how "going turbo" (game jumping) was bad in the first film is now exactly what Penelope does in the sequel. Still, it's an entertaining take on embracing yourself, putting all you can out there to help a friend, and at the same time learning to let go. Visualization of the internet is well done, capturing the expansive and chaotic nature of net traffic nicely. An enjoyable surf across the web. It doesn't have the heart of the first, but it's still a fun, entertaining flick.

The first movie, Wreck it Ralph, was kind of a surprise at least to me. When I heard about the movie I didn't think much of it. My wife and grandkids went to the local theater to see it. I waited till it was on disc and I was blown away. It was a very well written and entertaining movie and I enjoyed watching it over and over. So my entire family was looking forward to this movie. It was good but not great like the first movie. I have no interest to rewatch it but my granddaughter seems to like it so maybe it's just me. I would recommend it but I personally wouldn't make a great effort to see it.

We rarely buy movies without having seen them first, but this was a blind purchase based off of how good the first movie was. We were not disappointed. Was it perfect? Not totally, but that was with the movie itself. The Blu-Ray/DVD and digital copy were great, we love having the flexibility on how we watch our movies. So, between the movie and having nice options at a great price, we're very happy.

You can't go wrong with Ralph Breaks the Internet. One of the smarter movies I've seen lately that will entertain adults as they watch it with their kids. A fun and insightful take on what the Internet would look like if it was physical place to visit. Also, some fun Disney Easter Eggs littered throughout. Highly recommend this movie if looking for a fun night to spend with the whole family.

It's nice that Disney is still releasing DVD/BD/Digital combo packs so buyers have a choice in what device they use to enjoy their movie. As for the movie, it's a fun ride. Problems come up, plans are made, plenty of bumps in the road, and some actual character growth. Is it as good as the original? Close, but falls a tad short. But given how good the first one was this is still a great movie.

Our family really enjoyed the original Wreck It Ralph but were hesitant to see Ralph Breaks the Internet because many sequels, including Disney movies, can be a big let down. We didn't see it in the theater and decided to wait until it hit DVD. The entire family loved this movie. Very creative, great artwork, and the story was relevant to today's connected world. Must see for any Disney fan.

Wreck it Ralph is one of Disneys best modern day films. Usually Disney animated films involve proncesses or talking animals so when they released the first film it was such a welcome departure. With this sequel they have ramped up the humor, visuals and story. The princesses do show up but in a very funny and unexpected way. This film is a worthy sequel and one of Disneys best efforts.

This is a great sequel 2 the original, but I think the first one has a better story. It’s better that it has more characters than the first one did. There’s certain scenes that I love, but I won’t say anything, because I don’t want 2 spoil anything. If you own the first one than you should buy this one. Even though I like the story on the first one more, this is still a great sequel.

I didn’t really know what it was about until I watched it. I knew the internet was involved but hoo boy this was more ridiculous than any online game I’ve played. It’s 4k with HDR, while the image is great and all it’s not as sharp as I would like. Its probably because it was mastered in 2K then upscale for this release. But to be fair this isn’t meant for us, it’s for the kids!

The original was somewhat ground breaking with it primitive animation and humor. I was surprised how much I liked this version. The humor held up throughout but I especially liked the making fun of itself and the Disney Princesses. It had much of the same attraction of "Enchanted" when it mocked the genre. Excellent animation that pushes forward the story.

Ralph breaks the Internet explores an interesting topic of letting friendship change, and how holding on to the past can be destructive. It does a good job teaching its lesson, all the while having fun with great characters and enough Internet cameos to keep your eyes glued to the screen. It's powerful scenes don't stutter, and it's musical numbers and animation are perfect.
