Unlike their Ford Motor Co. namesakes, these Edsels are still up and running. Though the era has long since past, this group still is performing today to packed houses and on many "oldies" shows. Their biggest hit (included, and foremost on this hard to find album, was their 1957 release "Rama Lama Ding Dong", which did not reach popularity until 1961, possibly because if was incorrectly released under the title of "Lama Rama Ding Dong". That song alone makes this a worthy purchase, but there is so much more here to remind you of those glorious times in Pop history. Everyone should have this in their collection !!! I t is the ultimate for anyone who appreciates that genre of music, and, this group is the epitomy of that music ( is it any wonder they were one of the few signed by a major record label ?) The listening experience is worth it's weight in gold.
