Good 4k upgrade! We owned just the blu ray before this and noticed a big difference with the 4k version. Nice cover, purchased last year for $5 in store during holiday shopping

It was better than any of the series besides the first two. I've told several of my friends that they should watch it if they get a chance.

Typical Rambo movie, heartbreak, revenge. Rambo's back !!!

I absolutely LOVED this installment to the Rambo Series. At first it doesn't feel like rambo, more like Stallone... But once he gets on a role, It feels like John Rambo. I love it and sense they left the Door open for another one. The 4k transfer is super detailed and looks amazing. The steel book is cool. Definitely for the fan.

Movie was made for anyone who's lost a daughter, wife/loved ones to gangs and sex trafficking, as well as the fans. Stallone doesn't hold back on the violence, but this is a very angry Rambo who's demons come back to haunt him in the form of PTSD. The setting is ten years after the Burmese events, and much of this time gap is left to audience interpretation as to what and how he settled down. That however isn't important, what's important is that this film, like Rambo 2008, has highlighted a real and nasty problem that has been going on for far too long south of the border. There is no racism, there is no political agenda, this a film that shotguns a lot of issues raw in front of your face. You see, once the chains come off of civilized Rambo, it's a one man army vs the Cartel in all its glory... On a side note, I believe there were two theatrical versions of this film released (89 and 101 minutes). Sadly, this one doesn't have any of the extended scenes which I believed featured a 9 minute flash flood sequence at the start, and some extra scenes of Victor and Hugo Martinez - the villains of the film. There might be another release of an extended edition in the future, but as far as I know this might be the only steelbook/collector's piece available. We'll have to wait and see. Still, if your a fan of Rambo and avid collector, I highly recommend this film to you. Thanks for reading and God Bless...

"Rambo: Last Blood" is the best of the "Rambo" movie and the best movie of 2019. Careless of what the offended people say about this movie, it truly is the best movie of the year and the one movie that does a fantastic job exposing the vicious sex and drug traficking industry of Mexico although the movie was filmed in various locations of Spain. The steelbook was a bit hard to pick up in the store on its release day, but thank Jesus for people like Angie who stuck around looking for it no matter how long it would take and consitently apoligizing for not being able to find it of which I told her to not worry as it will eventually be found and it did get found with the help of Angie. The movie is a must-see for all Stallone and "Rambo" fans carless of what critics, including David Morrell have to say about it. David Morrell penned a dark and disrespectful to American veterans in his version of "First Blood", which is the first "Rambo" movie, and Sly hated it so much that he rewrote it and made it into the big hit that it became and Morrell novelized the other 2 "Rambo" movie and became even more famous than he was, so rather than complaining about "Rambo: Last Blood", Morrell should be kissing the floor that Sky walks on. The latest one, "Rambo: Last Blood" is an awesome movie filmed using the same camera as the first movie, "First Blood", which David Caruso kicked off his career.

Watching this movie, I understand why fans of Rambo and even the writer of the original First Blood novel didn't care for this installment. But I got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the picture. From what I've read, the script was written before Rambo (2008), so I assume that's why it resembles a lot of those Taken-esque movies that followed. However, I believed the relationship between John and the girl and the third act is as over the top as ever. I've enjoyed every Rambo movie for one reason or another. First Blood, part 2 is actually my favorite and Stallone is one of my favorite action. Stars. From his action (Rambo) to his sports dramas (Rocky) to his comedy (Oscar), I think he brings a lot of passion to what he plays in. PQ and AQ are decent. I'd recommend a high rental, if not a direct purchase.

Rambo has been apart of the American culture and zeitgeist for so long that it’s hard to imagine a finale that would honor the legacy of the character and provide a powerful enough ending that would do justice to such an iconic character. I think Last Blood provides that in many aspects, but does miss some of the iconic elements that makes Rambo who he is. All in all, this 4K set is a very good release. The film itself is well transferred to the format as the film was gorgeously shot and has a truly dynamic score that truly benefits from the clean sound transfer. The special features are pretty good with great behind the scenes shots and a lot of great info on making the film. If you’re a Rambo fan or an action movie fan, this is a great set to pick up.

Pretty good, pretty satisfying, but not awesome. Slightly recommend.

I really enjoyed the movie although it touched on the difficult topic of sex slave trade. It is hard to stomach what happens to these women if you stop and think about it. Not near the action of John Wick but a brutal ending for some deserving folks. The ending after the bloodbath was really well done. The young female actress was excellent along with Stallone. Ditto for the older woman. And you really hate the bad guy(s). I am not a big fan of special effects but this film handled them really good. There is one scene at the end that will stick in your mind. Bravo!

I had a similar idea for this Rambo movie. After the 4th installment. He comes home To his family ranch and just wants to get on with his life in peace and quiet. It's a little different then what I had in mind, but very similar in many ways. Drug cartels force him back into action and of course he takes care of business in Rambo fashion. Like I said it's a little different from my version, but I really enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to any Rambo fan. The best part is it still leaves you wondering at the end. Is this it for John Rambo? Or maybe.......

Great movie and well acted on both sides...The Cartel members were ruthless and this is what made the movie a lot of fun to watch. Sad to see Sly Stallone age so much compared to his earlier roles, but he has always been very entertaining to watch and this movie didn’t disappoint me at all...The climatic scene at the end was jaw dropping. If you haven’t seen this movie, it’s a shame, but it’s a well acted great story and beautiful ending to Rambo.

Last 20 minutes of the movie made me change my thoughts on the entire movie (for the better). Everything in the movie leading up to the last 20 minutes was just to se the scene for Rambo unleashing. But that isn’t really a bad thing. If you like the movie Taken, and like the Rambo movies, you will enjoy this. Not as good as Rambo 4 (2008), but still a good entry.

Sylvester Stallone plays John Rambo for the last chapter of the Rambo film series and this movie lived up to all of its predecessors. There is a lot of action and some very bloody scenes in the movie, more than the other 4 in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie, great plot and acting. If you are a Rambo fan this movie lives up to all the other ones, so don't hesitate on buying it, yes its good!

If you have enjoyed the Rambo series since the first one: First Blood - in the past four decades, then there’s no reason why you should not see this last chapter to end the series. Of course, it is Stallone’s come back into what he does best. It is every bit intense and brutal as the previous Rambo movies and will put you on the edge of your seat till the very end climax.

Awesome movie! Sad story but very realistic. I highly recommend if your into a rich story that is action packed and has a very good story to tell as the movie progresses.

I loved this movie! It was nice to see a Rambo movie that was realistic and down to earth since he is over 70 years old. Alpt of people complained that he wasnt in a jungle or didnt have explosive arrows. Haha. But it's a great film and personally my 2nd favorite Rambo film after First Blood. Cool exclusive steelbook from Beat buy as well.

Great movie. Rambo is not trying to be a hero but only human. Lots of realistic violence that shows how brutality is not be glorified but be feared. Those who deserve to be punished should be punished and will never be heard from again. The justice system is flawed. So Rambo takes matters into his own hands.

I was introduced to the character John Rambo when I read the paperback Rambo First Blood. I enjoyed the first movie based on the novel. I have seen and own all the Rambo movies and for the most part enjoyed them. Rambo last blood was a bit predictable and really seemed to be short. I expected a better story.

This is the final episode on Rambo’s franchise. First Blood started it all and this one which is Last Blood is the conclusion. This time he faces the Mexican cartel. The movie is more for Rambo’s fans. It may not be at the same level as the previous ones but there is plenty of action and strong bloody scenes.
