Another great product from Rand McNally!!! As expected!

i did not like it as much as i thought i would, im use to the garmin brand.{for a car.} [do not use a car one for trucks] I was hoping mcnally was a good one by the reviews. I bought it as a conpanion to the paper road map by them.trucker gps is not going to be fool proof from what i,ve seen so far. This is not a totally fair review. I dont know all the ins and outs of this gps.i would recommend extreme caution when using this or any other gps for trucks.stay on your companys preplanned route. Hasmat,road restriction times,weight, and height, are your concern not mcnallys.

Sometimes it sends you down low weight limit streets and low bridges

This gps work's, takes me too destination and re-routs quickly also,most important it gives you two! Route Calculations toll vs none toll and weight restrictions for roads.They should have named this gps the Beast!!!!!!!

I really like this rand McNally trucker gps. It is user friendly and easy to see the details of the map. The only down side is it has to be on wifi to receive traffic alerts.

I bought this gps because I drive a 18 wheeler for a living and wanted a "truck" specific one. I thought it would make it easier and safer for me. So far, it hasn't. It has routed me down numerous "No Truck" streets and warned me I was on a "No Truck" street while I was looking at a sign that stated I was on a truck route. On a couple of occasions I put in an address only to be told that it didn't exist but when I used google maps for the same address it showed it to me and gave me directions to it. I've tried updating the map in the unit but it says it's up to date. Well, their "up to date" map is out of date. I would have returned it but I was on the road for 18 days and BB only has a 15 day return policy.

Didn't trust it so much at first, now I really trust it. Always double check with maps. Only issue is that sometimes it will turn off cause of the bumps on the road. Love the settings menu. Has even fuel logs. 10 hour automatic reset.

This unit proved to be better than using navigation via phone or tablet, but just a few weeks into using it I started receiving error codes and experienced many difficulties keeping the unit on and working. I returned the unit for a refund.

Just moved to a new area with lots of restrictions for trucks. This GPS knew all of them, and has helped me many many times in learning my way around the area.

No complaints once you get past the set up. Keeps trucks on truck routes with the best possible route. Big screen is easily seen and voice is loud and clear. Hands down best trucker GPS we've tried

wont get lost or go in a restricted area with this GPS

Hubbie bought this for his rig and it tells him everything to ensure he gets his deliveries on time - all roadworks, gas stations etc, great graphics

Nice and big easy to use lots of options easy to see at night

Had a Garmin for truck driving, and it would get more and more messed up with every update. Garmin would map out a completely out of the way route for a destination right up the street. After attempts to get help with their tech support, finally gave up and bought the Rand McNally for truckers. Have updated twice, SO FAR, SO GOOD!
