Ok for everyone who has purchased this GPS and said it is great, they work for Rand Mcnally. I've had this one for 11 months now and it's been nothing but a dang headache. It does not give good directions, will send you anywhere from 10 to 30 miles out of the way. Crashes constantly, has now started losing the map information and going back to the home screen. Does not have all roads listed and the sad thing is Rand Mcnally makes the road maps for commercial vehicles. Rand Mcnally should stick with making GPS's and leave the tablet making to the experts. I need a GPS not something I can web browse on, put music on and store information, that's what I have a laptop and a smartphone for. It will not give the correct names for streets nor cities, pronounces St. Louis as Street Louis. Included a photo of one constant problem I keep having.

Great pictures and relocating. It does sometimes tell you that your destination on the right when it's actually on the left.

Every Trucker should have this because it have so many features a regular GPS doesn't have! Knows where a truck can and cannot go, height of bridges, and much more! Plus gives live traffic updates!

I was really hoping thus would work better thany phone since it's made for truckers. I used this gps andy phone gps at the same tI'm but this one had me go out of my way 20 minutes a few times. So not too thrilled about it

So much easier to do updates wirelessly! Free lifetime maps! A must have for every big rig driver!

I bought this for my father since he always enjoys different types. He likes it and it gets the job done. The only complaint is sometimes it leads him around when he can take a route straight there. It is a life saver though with minor flaws.

This is a better design than the the 730. The power cord doesn't pull on itself

After a year it stopped charging. I went back to Garmin.

Bought this as a surprise for my boyfriend and it turned out to be very complicated to use! Got him the same model that was refurbished

GPS after Garmin very easy to use Rand McNally - TND 740, liked when TND 740 showed toll roads and how many "miles + $" , very happy with low bridges too ...

This is a great GPS. Has been a favorite so far in my choices of GPS

This unit has problems. They claim that loss of GPS is due to use of other products in your vehicles such as cameras, cell phones or satellite radio. They offer no apologies or fix's for that. When you do call for customer service be prepared to be on the phone a while and be talked down to by a script reading phone jockey. The worst part of this is it has a routing feature. Sounded great to me, but turns out it cant give a clear route without you back tracking over ground you've already covered.

GPS works fine but Rand refuses to update the maps. Has not been done for 2 years. Used to be every month. They said they "are looking in to it" Said that 4 months ago and a year ago.

Where to start I own it for about 9 months and it was sent for repair once now 3 months later garbage is acting up goes on/off and direction will get u confused it just got mind of it's own . Costumer service ...... calling them 25 days and sprnd 3-4 hrs on hold till they hang up. Worst 500 ever spent its just peace of garbage with garbage costumer service.
