I bought this DVD to replace a previously purchased DVD of the same movie. The original disc had gotten scratched and wouldn't play anymore. My 6 yr old grand daughter loves this movie, so I replaced for her.

I don't see this animation as a kids movie but its contents seem some what dark. Love the artistic moments and character diversity. Had a great time watching this film with the family.

Rango and the townsfolk are a hoot to watch. We also learn about how important water is in our lives. Some of the characters might be a little scary for younger children

Movie was interesting for adults and attention keeping for kids. Has a lil different twist to it. Comedy focused, not a typical love story of many animated films.

The animation was top notch, but I found this film to be just "odd", for lack of a better word. I was entertained enough while watching, and enjoyed the nods to some classic westerns, as well as "Fear and Loathing..." and even "Mad Max". But overall, it's just sort of all over the place. And Johnny Depp's performance seemed to be channeling his previous portrayal of Hunter Thompson just a bit too much for me to be able to connect with the main (albeit animated) character. Recommended with reservations, only if you enjoy Depp's more peculiar characters.

It’s a very interesting animated movie, it has wonderful animation, direction and voice acting but it’s also unique apart from other animated films for its presentation.

I really like this movie, it's underrated for sure. Depp plays the lead chameleon trying to find out what's happened to all the water. Funny and some interesting creatures!

This movie is so fun. Jonny Depp channeling Hunter S.Thompson. So many cool references to Fear and Loathing in this. A great film that adults can enjoy with their kids.

This film has a great story behind it as well as the animation is awesome. I think that Depp is the perfect person to play the main character because he is weird enough!

Fun and funny movie that will keep the kids interested for an hour and a half. The characters are odd shaped and voices are good matches. Johnny Depp does a good job of course.

This is the only animated western movie I have ever seen. I am not aware of any other movie like Rango. This is an awesome movie that all must see and is appropriate for the kids.

I love this movie. Johnny depp is brilliant in all his movies, even if he's just narrating. Great picture quality (especially in blu Ray) all in all great movie.

My kids adore this movie and the special features take you in depth into how it was made and how Johnny drop acted the movie rather than just did the voiceovers

I don't know what it is about this movie but my youngest son has seen it what seems like a million times. I still find parts of it comical myself. Overall good movie.

I love Johnny Depp and to see him in a cute cartoon was funny. I did like the animation and the storyline. My 4 year old also enjoys watching this cartoon.

This is a fun movie for the whole family. The plot line is a little predictable in places, but it doesn't disappoint. The movie is funny, quirky, witty, and enjoyable.

I love the voices behind the characters and the movie isnt that bad either. My 7 year old boy watched it. He said he liked the movie but a bit childish for him.

This animation western is well written and funny. Lizard comes to town with stories untruthful in content but gets his listeners to believe every word. Worth watching.
