A bit of action and a bit of a thriller. A child gets kidnapped in this movie and is used to extort a couple million dollars out of the father of the boy who has a multi-million dollar business. I was going in to this movie quite happily but it dragged on a bit for my liking so I was asking myself when this was going to end in high anticipation when the last thirty minutes were left. I can't fault Mel Gibson's acting in this production and neither can I fault any of the others who had their role. No spoilers here. Still worth a watch even if it was made in the late nineties.

Ron Howard delivers in his first major film direction. Another great 90s film. Plot twist is great and the performances are on point. As a parent now watching this made me feel more for the characters. It does have a happy ending tho. You’ll see. Great actors and the suspense keeps you drawn. Add this to your blu ray collection.

This movie is from a little while ago. But it has a rock solid cast. Rene Russo and the incomparable Mel Gibson. Directed by Opie Cunningham, this movie is a thriller about child abduction and what one father will do to get him back.

Great movie! This review is from previous viewing. Great action, drama & intensity. Gary Sinise is one of my fave actors. No one disappoints in this movie! Had to buy when I saw it.

A nice, tight kidnapping thriller. Every parents worse nightmare. Probably around a 6.5 to 7 out of 10, but Gibson elevates it to an 8 out of 10 with his intense performance. Average audio and video for a blu-ray, but still much better than the dvd version. It's a steal for the price of under 10 dollars.

This is definitely one of the best movies I ever watched. Mel Gibson, Rene Russo, and Gary Sinise are great in this 1990s movie which Is very well directed by Rob Howard.

This is another roaring success by the Actor Mel Gibson. He successfully portrays the father of a boy kidnapped and held for ransom by a dishonest cop.

A movie full of suspense, with a story that any of us with kids, fear.
