I would recommend this game to anyone that loves to fish, great graphics and easy enough to learn techniques to enjoy the game.

No, this game is not like real fishing. It's a game, it's not the real thing. Smashing a zombies head in a game is nothing like the real thing either. What I do love about this game is the peripheral, awesome! you can switch the handle from left to right side like a real spinning real and the buttons are laid out well enough that they are easy to find after a few uses. The graphics of the game and the views you see (in single player# are simply awesome. If you don't jump the first time a giant musky swipes at your bait, there's something wrong with you. The boat is a bit difficult to control at first, but it's not a racing game. the fishing is very well thought out, although some of the special retrieve techniques are odd to say the least and some of the lure/fish match ups aren't exactly fully accurate. #Huge bass destroy spoons, and i've never caught a walleye on a topwater bait) but for entertainment value and immersion this game is by far the BEST FISHING GAME EVER MADE. No question, hands down.

Great concept. I'm glad that somebody put out a motion fishing game with a rod controller. I feel like if this game was actually made for playstation move (which it isn't, don't let the box fool you) it could be a VERY good product. Just from personal experience, any motion games that need the usb plug to work aren't very good at all (minus guitar hero/rock band). The controller doesn't know where it is half the time and it's very difficult to use. I feel like the gestures it commands me to do when reeling in a fish aren't realistic at all and are a pain in the butt. I would expect Playstation to jump on this market and create a fishing rod controller that allows the motion and navigation controller to be included. Until we see a product like that, I'd say stay away from the fishing games. Sorry fishers, you'll just have to catch real fish for the mean time! :)

i got this game for christmas with playstation move......THIS IS THE BEST FISHING GAME EVER.the graphics look real all around.the underwater graphics ar amazin.
