I'm not much of a gamer, but this game is awesome! The fishing rod acts as the controller and you literally reel the fish in! The rod is adjustable, so if you are left handed it will still work. This game was easy for me to figure out, but not so easy that it is not fun. We had friends over the other day and took turns playing and had a blast! 1 friend actually went and bought the game for her self. Highly recommend!

I did not know how I was going to feel about this game at first. With most fishing games I pick it up and end up walking away disappointed. For this game, I was not disappointed. The mechanics are extremely simple. The game can be played using one lure the entire time. However, the more you change the better your chances are at catching fish. So long as you perform the right rod movements and get the hang of cranking while moving the rod in different directions the game is cake to win. After approx 5 hours of gaming I was able to beat the game in single player on Reg, Pro and Legendary. The downside to the game is for approxametly half the achievements you need two players and the second player has to use the move controller. Therefore, its only realistic for one person playing (the one that gets to use the rod).

We play this game every night. I thought it might be dorky with the move as opposed to the rod in 2- player, but it is a blast with the move. Our son-in-law had a similar game on the wii so we bought this one for the ps3 (we had never played or set-up) and it is way better. Since this game was so great I bought 20 more games, and though some are awesome this one is the best. My tastes are Burnout Paradise, Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011, Ratchet & Clank, Guitar Hero's, NBA 2K7, Full Auto 2 Battlelines, and The Godfather: The Don's Edition. And like Dangerous Hunts and Guitar Hero, anyone can play.

I love this game, it makes me feel like I'm actually fishing. I have never gone fishing before because I think it's boring but after playing this game my mind has changed.
