My 5 year old lives to play on the wii he picks up video games very quickly. He understands how to play the game and he catches a majority of the fish, but he'ld much rather play the mario games. However I currently have the highest record in the house, Go Mom!!!

Overall a fun game but its difficult to steer the boat at times and the rod and real really sucks. i found it easier not to use it

My 10 Yr old loved this game but husband thought just OK. Unfortunately the Rod & Reel that was included and is used to play the game broke on the 2nd day and the game has sat unused since. Rod/Reel seemed to be poorly designed and was not repairable but will try to replace the Rod/Reel since it was a very fun game to play and watch.

I got this for my 9 year old son for Xmas. He is an avid gamer as well as an avid outdoorsman. I thought this was a fun way to bring the 2 together and help him not miss his summer pastime as much in the cold. He loves it! He thinks the special holder for the controller really adds to the feel of the game, and the fun. His younger brothers love playing it too, as do his father and grandfather (an extreme bass fisherman!) It kept them all busy on Christmas morning. For the girls in the family who aren't so much into fishing and play a select few video games on a regular basis it was a bit of a miss however. But for it's core audience you can't beat the realism and fun this game offers.

I had high hopes for this game. First off the rod and reel are cheesy. Real cumbersome and just doesn't work right. The game has a ninja type theme you pick a character and they chop the fish and hit them with karate moves. I don't know what that even has too do with fishing. I played the game twice and gave up. The funnest part was driving the boat around and making it blow up! Avoid this game!!

Got this game on sale for $20 and well worth it! The rod assembly is great with the game, makes it more life like. The fishing is not for your powerhouse fisherman but great for kids and people like me who have no patience to fish but love it when I catch something!

I gave this to my nephew for Christmas. He hasn't stopped playing it yet! He dreams about it and does the casting & hooking motions in his sleep! Fun game! If you are intending for more than one person to play when purchasing, you might want to consider looking for an extra "fishing rod" adapter.

It is a fun game, but needs more to keep your attention!
