Rare Replay is a collection of games from Rare's catalog over the years. Most of your old favorites are here, including Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie, and Perfect Dark. There are some notable exclusions, most likely due to copyright issues, such as the Donkey Kong Country games and Goldeneye 007. However, the games that are here are just as fun as they were back in the day and are well represented in this collection.

The value in rare replay is amazing! You get so many games for half the price of a new game! It's worth it for the banjo games alone!

Rare Replay is an awesome trip to the past! Although it doesn't have every Rare game ever played, it has a solid 30, and has majority of the great masterpieces. Games run smoothly, and the multiplayer, for all of the games which have this feature, is an awesome experience. If you're looking for a bundle of games, I highly recommend Rare Replay.

Great collection of new and old games, fun for hundreds of hours for just $30, great for kids and adults who used to be kids when these games were NEW. Some are full screen, some have borders (they're laid out in SD, not HD-WS).

This Rare game collection has something for everyone. With all the games included it could take months to finish all the games! Can't beat it for the price.

I bought this game to play some of the classics and some of the newer ones in the past years as well. Battletoads was great, Viva Pinata, Banjo, ect.... Eventually the hype died down after a while and I got pretty bored with most of the games. They are all great games, but with some camera angle issues, bad controls as a kid that I overlooked and didn't care are now a major pain in the butt and I can't even stand playing these games anymore. I don't regret my purchase, but personally If i know then what I know now. I would pass. With the cheap price you still can't go wrong.

First off, I mainly got this for one amazing, somewhat underrated and admittedly aging title: Jet Force Gemini. The version included in this compilation has updated controls: the two original controls, Normal and Expert, intended for the N64 controller, as well as a "Modern" control scheme added in via a patch and accessed through the Rare Replay options menu rather than the in-game options. Even so, the controls have not aged well since this game was designed for that infamously awkward N64 controller, most importantly meaning that anyone familiar with modern 3D two-analog stick controls will be VERY disoriented for quite some time. You do get used to it, but I feel it would have been better to simply give the player the option of customizing the controls completely rather than adding in one new static option. Other than that, Jet Force Gemini is faithfully reproduced 100% satisfactorily and I've been having a blast. As for the other 29 games in the compilation, a lot are hit or miss, mostly the older titles from the 80's. The "snapshot" and "playlist" features allow you to play short challenges or series of challenges custom tailored to each of the older games, which gives a fresh approach to a few stale, confusing games. The ability to rewind in older games makes notoriously difficult titles like Battletoads more approachable as well. Several of the more popular and newer titles like Banjo Kazooie and Viva Pinata are actually just the existing Xbox 360 remakes added into the compilation and hold up just as well as they did last generation. The only other gripe is that to install the entire compilation is about 50 GB, with each Xbox 360 version installing as a separate game. All of the non-Xbox 360 games are installed as one game under "Rare Replay", but ALL 30 games can be accessed from within the Rare Replay game itself if they are installed. One upside to this is that you can skip the installs and save hard drive space, for example if you don't need the sequels until you've played the originals first.

30 games for 30 bucks. What else do you need to know? Well... these are not all booboo games. Conkers Bad Fur Day? Have you played it? You werent old enough when it released? Your mom saw the rating and wouldnt buy it? Now is the time.. This disc is worth it with practically just that game alone.... Throw in the original Perfect Dark.... Viva Pinatas... Grabbed by the Goulies.... Stop reading this review... go buy this.... P.S..... Best Buy wouldnt let me say c.r.a.p. So now it says booboo....

Bought this for Banjo-Kazooie, but am excited to try out the many other rare games. Presented beautifully. Awesome collection.

Can't get enough of this, a lot of games I used to play way back when and some I didnt. 30 games for 30 bucks and its awesome

Rare Replay offers 30 classic Rare games in one package. Probably the most exciting part of this whole collection is resisting the glory days of Rare's time making Nintendo 64 games. Unfortunately, some of the older titles don't hold up so well. There is fun to be had from all of these games, but if you did not grow up with them, they may seem a little archaic in this day and age.

For anyone who grew up with Rare games, this collection is a no-brainer. All eras of Rare are represented here. The only aspect of the collection that stops me from giving it 5 stars is how the 360 titles perform. This might be fixed in the future, but as of now, performance in the newer titles isn't as good as the original 360 versions. I also encountered missing textures and other new glitches in Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero. For $30, even with these minor issues, you really can't go wrong. Everything else plays as well as it ever has. Tons of unlockable extras too!

30 games for 30 bucks some of them being all time classics. Best value for your money boy does this bring back memories!!!

I love banjo, conker, battletoads and the viva piñata series. There are tons more. And, you can't beat the price of 30.00

This game is a lot of fun. I feel like it is a good value for the money. It is fun to play some of the old games again
