The level set up is much different from games like Ratchet and Clank Future. Here you are defending bases, and it gets repetitive when you die and have to restart the mission unlike other games in the series.

In an effort to add a new twist to the gameplay, Insomniac went in a slightly different direction with this one. Personally, I found it a little too repetitive and wish it had a more engaging and interesting story. Still tons of fun to annihilate everything, but I found it not quite as good as other entries in the series.

if you like to play with others this game is good for that. If you like to play alone this game is good also but is not as easy.

Of all the Ratchet and Clank titles, including All 4 One and Agent Clank, Full Frontal Assault shines as an example of how to include a fresh perspective on a now firmly recognized gameplay mechanic, that being tower defense. While the traditional gameplay in the series remains as steadfast and responsive as ever, this new incorporation of strategy and risk/reward is a welcome one. Congratulations Insomniac on another job well done. Oh yeah, it is much better when played with a buddy.

A shift from the Ratchet and Clank norm, Ratchet and Clank Full Frontal Assault offers a tower defense experience. On top of this, buying the PS3 version grants the owner a free copy of the PS Vita version, as well as Ratchet Deadlocked HD! Ratchet Deadlocked was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. Like Full Frontal Assault, it was also a shift from the Ratchet and Clank norm as it stripped away most platforming and focused solely on frantic, frenetic combat.

As a longtime devotee of the Ratchet & Clank series, they seem to be getting farther and farther away from the things that made me fall in love with them at the start... gameplay is shorter, and weapons and gadgets are limited...

Ratchet and Clank's foray into another genre is a solid one.

they tried something new because of the other games haven't been selling so well, though those games are what kept the series entertaining, i would stick to the roots

My kids saw this game in the clearance bin at best buy. They said dad can we get this game? I looked the game over and decided it was ok for two small boys. We got home and I helped to open the disc. The plastic wrap can be a bit tricky if it's your first time. Good news was the game worked like any ps3 game I'd purchased prior. And kept the boys busy for a few afternoons.

The story was to short. Does not take long to best. The original ratchet and clank games are better

This game is alright, but it's not like the other R&C games. I only got it to fill my collection.

This game is pretty neat. I loved the fact that it is multiplayer and can have a lot of fun! The thing I didn't like was the fact that there isn't enough levels! The game is too short. But other than that, it's an awesome game!

If you have played the previous Ratchet and Clanks then you are familiar with the gameplay. Full Frontal Assault seemed choppy and fragmented compared to the previous versions.

Nice game, but all previous rather games are much better. I'm not a huge base protection type of game player. Prefer frontal assault and puzzle games.

This is a great game that is fun to play because of the action and the storyline.

Kids love it. They enjoy playing the game and taking turns.

I'm a big fan of the Ratchet and Clank series but was very disapointed with this game. Little to no storyline. Gameplay is too short. My 8 year old beat the game in a day.
