Great game, bought for my son for Christmas and am excited to play it with him. Good game for younger kids.

If you've played the previous games you will know what you're getting into. Classic Ratchet and Clank gameplay with some new weapons and areas. Definitely worth it for the price.

There is definitely a feeling of deja vu, given that the story line and planets are essentially the same as the original R&C from the PS2. But they've done a nice job of adding some new wrinkles, throwing in some new weapons and of course vastly improving upon the graphic presentation. I've owned every game in this franchise, and I have really all of them.

This is classic Ratchet & Clank game that was remastered for the PS4. I bought this so I could play it before the release of the newest one for the PS5 due out sometime this year 2021. The game is so much fun, the visuals are great and the weapons are exciting and super cool. Love it, and a great playthrough for all ages.

This is a really fun game with gorgeous graphics. It's basically a reimagining of the original Ratchet & Clank game, so you don't have to be familiar with any of the past titles (which were also top notch). This is a humorous game with creative weapons. My favorites are the sheepinator (enemies are turned into sheep) and the groovitron (a disco ball that forces enemies to dance uncontrollably). Lots of fun!

Fantastic game with great characters, gameplay, music, story, and graphics. Story is told from Captain Qwark's point of view so there are some differences. The game feels like both a remake and reboot of the original Ratchet and Clank, as the story is very similar but with differences, there are some of the same worlds but new ones too, as well as some of the same weapons and some that weren't in the original.

This game is a love letter to Ratchet and Clank fans (as well as any fans of solid action/adventure platforming). I grew up loving the PS2 R&C games as well as the Future series on the PS3, and this game brought back that love in a big way. Amazing visuals (as usual), rock solid gameplay, hilarious writing (with terrific voice acting), and ridiculously fun weapons had me grinning from ear to ear the entire time.

The 2016 Rachet and Clank is a fun-packed third-person shooter that brings back good memories of earlier games from the series. Great job by Insomniac on the reboot with the crisp graphics, a good selection of weapons to choose from, and by keeping the storyline interesting while giving some liberty to explore different locations in the game. Took me around 20+ hours to finish the story and complete all side missions and collectibles. It's a remake done right, and I hope they continue making more games in the series.

I didn't initially become interested in R&C until the PS3 games, which I loved, but I thought the series started to go downhill after Crack in Time. I hear into the Nexus was fun, and regret not getting it, but this reboot is just a good old fashioned great time. It's exciting, the weapons are varied, the upgrade system is rather deep, and the graphics are gorgeous. My only gripe is the game was fairly short, you would have to do a lot of grinding to max out all weapons unless you play through new game+, which I never do. Overall though, if you miss R&C, this is a great way to get reacquainted with an old love.

I've been a fan of Ratchet and Clank from the original game on PlayStation 2 back in 2002. This game is a great throwback, not only to the original, but to the mechanics Insomniac added throughout their works with this IP. It looks absolutely gorgeous on the PS4 and the controls are fantastic. Whether you are a longtime fan like myself or wish to share a great game with your kids, this game is for all ages.

Ratchet and Clank have been at the helm of a storied franchise that has rarely faltered. I was a bit worried that this was going to be a quick cash-in but much to my surprise, this is a really excellent game. The graphics are drop-dead gorgeous. Every detail shows amazing craftsmanship and the particle effects are dizzying in their abundance. Gameplay is solid and entertaining if not a bit familiar. Weapons are the hallmark of Ratchet and Clank and overall they are great. The Pixelizer is the standout though it it hugely overpowered. This is a fun but short return to classic Ratchet and Clank action.

Great way to jump into the franchise if you have never played any of the games before and even if you have played every game in the series, this reboot is gorgeous and has new things to play with and ofcourse the over the top weapons to make it really enjoyable to play. Highly recommend this game, especially if you like playing with your kids like I do. Enough enjoyment for adults as well as kids

I've always been a fan of the frantic fun of the Ratchet and Clank series and this one doesn't disappoint! Incredible visuals, smooth gameplay with all the refined gameplay elements of the earlier titles. This isn't a remake as much of a reboot and tells a different story of the first game. The comedy is on point and I hope they reboot other titles in the future. Great game.

I had forgotten how much fun these games could be. Cartoony platformers seemed like a thing of the past but by dusting off this classic and polishing it to a nice new shine, it's been proven to me that a bright, goofy, colorful game still has a place among the realism and open worlds that we've seen take over the scene. If you're on the fence, just get it. You won't be sad that you did.

I've been a fan of this franchise since it's debut back on the PS2 in 2002. One of PlayStation's greatest exclusives. It's a fantastic retelling of the original game with new things added here and there. It even has some of the features that were in later games like upgradable weapons. A fantastic game and a must have for all PS4 owners. Perfect for fans of the series and even newcomers.

I played Ratchet and Clank when it first came out on PS2. I had fond memories. Sometimes it's best to leave memories in the past as trying to relive them is not quite as fond. But this game completely holds up to the test of time. The gameplay and story and humor is spot on. The updated graphics are a real treat. Really enjoying it so far. I'm probably about 75% done already.

This was a great gift to give for the holidays. I gave this gift to my cousin who I thought should experience this classic remastered for the modern age. He really loved it and is currently playing as I am typing this! Thank you best buy crew! Happy Holidays!!

As someone who played the original R&C games I enjoyed this game a bunch. It was nice that the story was different than the original so it felt fresh while maintaining the same charm. I think cutting out some of the filler planets was a good choice, and I am very happy the game didn't retail at regular because of it. Overall this a great value for the cost and the gameplay is solid.
