This game is incredible. It's truly a fun and creative experience and the story is an excellent follow up to the previous one released for the PS4. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who has previously loved or had any interest in any of the Ratchet and Clank games. While playing it, you would honestly have zero idea that the game is playing at 30FPS. I'm mainly a PC player and I have to say, I was genuinely taken back by how good the gameplay is running at what most would consider such low framerate. Don't let people fool you - it's a smooth and enjoyable game and, for my part, it's a great showcase of what the PS5 can do.

I’ve been waiting for a ratchet and clank game for quite a while now, I thought the reboot was ok but I liked the original better, rift apart takes things to a whole nother level, the way you traverse the levels is a whole lot of fun on its own, this game was definitely made for the PS5, graphics are beautiful the story is pretty good, and the side missions are great fillers inbetween story missions, gameplay is buttery smooth and I appreciate that they took inspiration from spider man as far as customizing your armors and other aspects of the game, if you’re asking why you bought a PS5 this game is the answer!

Been a fan of the ratchet and clank games since the start so i was really looking forward to this one and it was amazing!. Visually this is one of the greatest looking games I've ever seen, the creativity that insomniac brings never disappoints even after so many games in the franchise they still manage to get me excited about every weapon, planet and character. The new mechanics they've given our heroes this time around to are alot of fun to use, the ability to dodge is one of them but i don't want to give everything away. Easy to see i love this game and recommend it to anyone.

This game is just what I was craving - simple & straight-forward fun. No big open worlds or 30+ hour campaigns. Includes the perfect amount of challenge to keep you engaged, but never frustrates (there are difficulty level settings as well). Of course, the graphics have to be mentioned in any review of this title. Easily the most visually impressive game I've played. The performance, combined with the graphics are next level. Truly makes your PS5 feel like a next generation system. Makes me excited for the future titles of this generation.

I can't imagine a game more fun to play than Ratchet and Clank. What I mean by that is, it is an easy game to pick up and put down, not a lot of thought has to go into it, it's challenging yet simple, great story, and it has AMAZING graphics! I love to play Fortnite but often end playing feeling frustrated or angry (lol). This game is just as fun but without the frustration or rage after your opponent emotes after you get bodied. Not cheap but worth every penny. This is a Must Buy!

This game is a wonderful return for Ratchet and Clank. Graphically, the game is beautiful. With the display options for Performance, Performance with Ray Tracing, and Fidelity you can really dial in your preferences. Gameplay wise the game truly shines. I had a ton of fun with the game. I ran into relatively few bugs and no major frustrations or issues with the game. I took my time and spent about twenty hours playing the game. That includes playing through a second time much faster than the first. I highly recommend the game.

This is the perfect family game for your PS5. The choice is your choosing each person starting level. The game play is awesome, voice acting is steller and the storyline will make you want to save the world. Fanastic action platformer for all ages, by the way I'm a 54 year old Husband and Father. My wife even enjoys watching our boys and I play the adventure. A bonus is having our LG OLED C9 display insane frame rate, no lag and wonderful graphics at 60 fps. This is a must have purchase for yourself and famly. Purchase and enjoy,

Love this game! Visuals are great, controls are really good and the story is entertaining. My kids love it too so that’s a big win.

Fantastic game that shows off the great power of the Playstation 5. It does make the PS5 in to a hot boi when running, however. I am rather impressed by the great, solid gameplay, the adorable story as always from R&C games, and how it is on the shorter side and does not drag out and overstay its welcome. Only drawback is I had a few technical glitches that had me have to restart at the last checkpoint a few times, but nothing I couldn't deal with - pretty impressive for release date for a modern game nowadays.

This is a wonderful third person platforming shooter game. The story is emotional, the game's visuals are outstanding, and the characterization of newcomers Rivet and Kit are great. I love how this game handles mental health and how it explores themes such as self worth, anxiety, depression, and mental breakdowns. It really adds a level of maturity to the Ratchet and Clank series that was missing before. Insomniac Games has surely made a beautiful game that is fun and full of heart. 9/10 from me

I beat this game in a few sessions and I'm not one of those speed running types. First the positives. It's beautiful. Arguably the prettiest (console) game of all time. You'd be hard-pressed to name a more graphically intense game. The controls and gameplay are exactly what you'd expect with Ratchet & Clank. Tight. As for the negatives. It's the same stuff but now you play as a girl! There's some feminist mumbo jumbo and I'm willing to bet the female Ratchet & Clank will be the next protagonists in the series. Sony is really going hard with the "representation." Besides the graphics and load times, this is another R&C.

This game has everything a ratchet and clank game should have, and more. The set pieces are there, the shooting is fantastic, the variety is great and the graphics/performance for this game are phenomenal. Just wish the characters had a little bit more depth to them.

This game looks fantastic, controls are great, the story is even surprisingly well written, but something still feels stale about the Ratchet & Clank formula. As fantastic as some of the elements of the game & game development are, the game still feels likes it stuck in the past. Ratchet & Clank gameplay needs some innovation & rifting is just NOT the innovation that is needed. I couldn't help getting bored with this game and feeling like I could have been playing any past Ratchet & Clank game & had a better time. For me, this franchise needs some major retooling & innovation, because the combat formula seems like it's stuck in the PS3 age and can't get out. All the moves, guns and etc pretty much feel exactly the same as past games. 3 stars from me

Rift apart is a game that delivers on the promises Mark Cerny made about the capabilities of the ps5. The graphics look like a disney pixar film the loading times are more or less non existent and the teleporting around shows how fast the system ssd truly is. On the third point it is amazing how fast the ssd inside the ps5 loads assets into system ram. Going forward I am extremely excited to see what devs will do with the super fast ps5 ssd.

Finally got to start this game recently and so far it's my favorite game of this new console generation. The graphics are great, the performance is great, but more than anything it's just fun. I can easily sink an hour or two into running around the worlds, collecting bolts and checking all the corners for collectibles. I look forward to playing it on a daily basis and I know I'll be sad when the ride is over.

If you are a fan of the series like me, you already know this game is a must have. Excellent story, amazing graphics, and just plain fun. Really shows off the power and capabilities of the PS5. I don’t think you need to have played previous entries to fully understand whats going on. The story does a great job of giving you enough back story to understand the characters and give meaning to the cause.
