Customers value the fun and engaging gameplay, finding it especially enjoyable for children and groups of friends. However, some users experienced issues with the Kinect sensor's accuracy in registering movements. The game's multiplayer functionality is also a positive aspect for many players.

Fun for Multiple Players & Parties

We got this for Christmas and have played it with 2 players, 3 players, and 5 players. With all of those options, it's been a blast. The Rabbids are their usual selves in many of the games - telling you that you failed and are horrible. Some of the games can be physically challenging if you're not in shape. As another reviewer said, some of the games don't have instructions and we weren't able to figure out what to do. We played this as a group of adults (having kicked the kids into the other room onto the Wii) and it was hysterical. One of the guys said that he wants to get a Kinect just so he can get this game. The pictures it takes are priceless and it's fun just to watch everyone do the strange things they ask of you. It is different than the other Rabbids games so don't go into it expecting the same type of game.

Bought As A Party Game

I would have to say that this game isn't very fun as a 1 player game unless you’re in preschool. My 2 kids, ages 3 and 5, laugh their butts off when they smack and kick the rabbid around our living room. It's one of their favorite games. I do have an issue with the fact that occasionally the rabbid runs off screen and makes a bunch of weird noises for what seems to be an exorbitantly long time. It is probably a glitch. You can either wait for the rabbid to come back or you can restart the game. We usually just wait.
There are some 2 player games as well. I haven't had a chance to try them all out yet. There is something to point out about the ones that I have tried. The directions that the game gives are not really that great. I am usually confused about what to do at first. Some of the games took me a couple of tries to figure out what I was supposed to do. Some of the games were fun, some weren't. It's just a matter of preference on my part though.
I didn't buy this game to play at home though. I bought it to play as a party game. Some of my other friends and family have an Xbox360 with Kinect as well, so I take the game over to their house to play at gatherings. I really like that you can have 3-16 players. It's perfect for some of our family gatherings. There are different things that the game has each player do and they are pretty random. This includes anything from answering a visual question to moving your butt back and forth to erase the squiggly line. You may have to move your face back and forth to slurp up a spaghetti noodle, or move your head up and down to lick a chocolate cake off a rabbid's face. Watching people preform the tasks are hysterical. What could be better than watching your mother-in-law try to erase a line with her butt or watching a nephew or niece try to bounce up and down to squeeze all of the air out of an inflatable bouncing pony on a treadmill? And of course the pictures the game takes are funny too. Some of the pictures might be blackmail worthy.
There is another party game that is for 3-16 players as well, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I believe that the second party game is a little more competitive and there are opportunities to go head-to-head with other players. Some, if not most, of the head to head games are the same as the 2 player games.
So, to wrap things up, the 3-16 player games are great for parties or family gatherings. Not so great for 1 player unless you like to smack invisible rabbits around your living room. The two player games are a toss-up as to if you will like them or not. I do take issue with the fact that there is something to be desired as far directions for game play go, but you can figure them out. It's just annoying to not have clear directions. Or you could look on the bright side. In a large multiplayer game, it might be advantageous to be the only one who really knows what to do.

I bought the game for five dollars when it was part of the Deal of the Day and I am happy with my purchase. The game is simple and easy to understand for almost any age. The game offers a lot of different mini games that get the player moving. There is also a mode featured in here that lets players interact with a Rabbid. Overall I enjoyed the game. I've only played by myself but it seems enjoyable for all ages. I haven't played all of the modes yet, but I have already played a bunch and it seems like there are still a lot left, so, Raving Rabbids really packs a lot of content with a good price.

Fun Party Game

Love the Rabbids game when I first played the games on the Wii. I love playing games with the Kinect. This is one Kinect game that is fun with friends. It is still fun playing single player but it is definitely better as a party game. There were times it did not register me properly but that was a minor thing and only happened 1 out of 10 times. It is one to keep in the collection to throw in the lineup for your next Kinect party

Overall this is a fun game. The navigation isn't perfect and some of the games are not easy/intuitive, but as a party game for the Kinect there really is no competition. Get it.

Perfect Party Game

I debated between 4 and 5 stars overall for this review until I remembered why we got this game in the first place - the original Rabbids game (we have it for Wii) was non-stop party fun. It didn't have a one-player mode to speak of, and neither does this. But get 3 or more people together and this beats the heck out of Trivial Pursuit. Over Christmas we played the "carrot juice" game with a group of six adults and there was lots of.... umm.... carrot juice consumed. And it just got funnier as we had to drink more carrot juice!
Maybe this isn't the best game for a mixed group, but for a group of adults who don't mind being irreverent it was the best.

Disappointing

The gameplay was highly disappointing because the kinect motion sensor would not pick up half of the moves for some of the mini games. I would jump to slap the rabbid and my person on the screen did not move. It was also not an easy interface to explore. The rabbid store was non-intuitive. I would not recommend unless you want some frustration.

Just a good game

This game is fun for random party of people. The game doesn't instruct you how to beat each mini game. I have calibrated my Kinect a few times but this game doesn't sense very well to your movements which can be frustrating as you try to progress through the game. There are a few good mini games but if you payed more than $5 for this, then it's not worth it. I only got it because it was on clearance for $5.

i have yet to discover a story line, and the controls are not explained very well, if at all. Most levels are challenging, also because you have almost no idea how you are suppose to complete the level. very amusing game once you undersand what you are suppose to do.

Fun game, Kids love it. Very good at keeping them occupied for hours. Kinect sensor still needs some work, but doesn't really hinder gameplay.
Great purchase for the price I paid...

hard to figure out, gave up quickly

I'll be honest, we only tried a handful of the mini games, but we couldn't figure out how to do it, so we gave up quickly. One game there are shapes that you are supposed to make with your body, and that of a partner, another you were supposed to spin around to open a pickle jar, and another you were supposed to crosshairs pointed at your feet. all of these seemed difficult to succeed in. there are no instructions in book, and they have little instruction playing the game, so after a few failed attempts we gave up. I am glad i only paid $5 for the game, so i was willing to take a chance. maybe we will try again another time, but so far the best kinect game we found is Minute to Win it! what a riot!!!

3 and 5 year old grand kids ask for Rabbids

It is pretty easy for a grandfather with a controller to help his young players select the activities in this game. As the kids grow different sets of activities will be available in this game. It will have a long life. It needs an adult to supervise. Kids have a lot of fun with some education as well as excitement. Easy to pick the number of players. Directions good for children.

This is a good game for Kinect. Got this game for kids who visit my house and want to play video games. Don't like kids messing with my controllers so with the Kinect this solves the problem.
