Initially, I was skeptical of the meta glasses. They do not have AR so what was the real purpose? Quickly learn that the true joy of these is having hands free video/picture capability without taking out your phone. Quality is good, for a pair of glasses, similar to a iPhone X. Most impressive was the audio and mic for calls. As long as you are not in a heavily crowded or extra loud area, they work great. The transitions are also a must as I can use them indoors and out. Just came back from a conference where I was able to document a lot of otherwise difficult to capture moments.

Overall i like this product, but i wish it has more battery life on it, i used it when mountain biking, taking pictures and short 30 second videos and used it as my music speaker on the trail, battery usually last like 2 1/2 hour when using video, like 5 30 second, taking maybe 10 shots of photo and listen to music and that will be 2 hour and 30mins..

Have had these for several months, and wear them daily. They are a tremendous help for work and life. Audio calls are great quality, and music as well. People are always surprised when I tell them I’m talking to them on the glasses, because it sounds so good. Great for documenting work items, and taking notes.

They’re great for content creators, the quality is certainly worth the price. However the bugs and issues are some what the downfall- hard to comprehend sometimes. Additionally, the glasses while listening to music sometimes turn down due to the environment- not certain how to stop that feature, but when I figure it out this will be a 5 stars.

I don’t consider myself to have a fat head, but these are very uncomfortable after wearing them for about an hour. There is a lot of pressure over the ears, unlike any other glasses I’ve used. Transitions are good, but do not work in the car due to the windshield.

My fiancé used the meta glasses to propose to me. It was romantic. He took videos live while doing it and it captured the moment we had. Thanks to meta glasses.

Best designer transition shades, headset, camera anyone can have. Couldn’t be more happier to have the smartest shades on earth.

Oh my goodness!! So I admit I'm a techie, but this product exceeded my expectations. The sound quality on the open ear speakers is mind-blowing, yet so private. The conversational AI is what takes it over the top. I've got all the information I need at the tip of my ears now! I’ve been using the Meta Smart Glasses with Transitions, and overall, they’ve delivered a surprisingly smooth and innovative experience. First off, the Transitions lenses are excellent. The shift from light to dark happens quickly and naturally, making them perfect for wearing indoors and outdoors without constantly swapping glasses. That feature alone makes them a standout for everyday wear. On the audio side, I’m impressed—the sound is clear and surprisingly private. Even with music playing, those around me can’t hear a thing, which is a major win. It’s also nice not having to wear buds all day. These glasses deliver audio cleanly while leaving my ears free. As for the AI features, they’re informative and useful. I’m not deep into all the capabilities just yet, but the basics work well, and the potential is clear. The only real drawback? The small light that turns on when taking photos or videos. I get the privacy intention, but it’s distracting and makes the process feel less discreet than it should. Setup was a bit clunky, especially getting everything aligned with Meta’s ecosystem. But once you’re through the initial pairing and permissions maze, day-to-day use is smooth and mostly frictionless. In short: great design, smart features, and a seamless lens experience. With some UI refinements and the ability to disable that recording light, this would be a category leader.

This device is a game-changer for my work at a biogas plant. I often deal with conveyor systems that cause issues, and taking out my phone to capture photos or videos can be a hassle—not to mention a safety risk. Being able to use both hands while simply saying, “Hey Meta,” makes my job so much easier. No more fumbling with my phone or worrying about dropping it from a height. This has truly improved my workflow and safety on the job! I took 1 star off because with as much as I would like to use this, the battery drains rather quickly when recording, taking photos, making phone calls etc.

These are so sick, useful in both indoor and outdoor scenarios. Whether I have a quick question I can ask the AI or have to take a picture, these glasses keep me in the moment and off of my phone which is something I was hoping they’d do. The audio comes through very well straight up becoming my favorite listening device for the gym replacing my sonos ace. The transition lens is quick when going outside. They look and feel like a $400 set of glasses and I’m looking forward towards wearing these all the time.

I purchased these glasses mainly for the convenience of taking pictures and videos any time with minimal effort. The images aren’t as good as my iPhone but they are still pretty good for casual shots. I did take them over to a Ray Ban retail store to by prescription lenses for them. $550 for the lenses (ouch) but worth it because then I will wear them more often as my regular daily glasses. Also can ask Meta questions (similar to Alexa). That’s a plus. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I was amazed by the accuracy of the AI recognition of my surroundings. I originally just wanted these for mirroring video or watching videos but that is not a feature of these glasses, unfortunately. But for what they are, they did it very well. The audio is mind blowing. Couldn’t believe it was coming in through my skull, lol. Overall great AR glasses
