I have been in the market for a new headset however it is always difficult to find comfortable ones with my glasses. I decided to try out Razer and have been very impressed so far with this headset! Right out of the unboxing I was very impressed how great the packaging material was and consideration was taken for the placements. The package wraps are so nice that I ended up saving a few of them to store the cord and dongles. It was nice to see right out of the box it was ready to plug n play. I use this headset for both PC and PS5 with the included dongles. The sound quality is very impressive! I use the Dolby Atmos for PC and was impressed with the sound emitting from the headset. The battery life was very impressive, it states 70 hours on the box however I always have the lights on so it runs around 50 hours. The reason I say it’s still impressive is that my old headset lasted for around 40 hours without any lights. The mic was crystal clear and my friends never had any problems listening to me. The biggest and most important was comfort and needless to say this was extremely comfortable even after 5 hours of constant play. As mentioned, I wear glasses and upon playing with this headset it never pushed my glasses inward or caused any discomfort. It rested great on my ears and head and I really like the adjustability. Overall, this was a very impressive headset and recommend trying this out for anyone who wears glasses.

I couldn’t be happier with the Razer Barracuda X Chroma Bluetooth Wireless Gaming Headset. This headset delivers on every level — sound quality, comfort, versatility, and style. The audio is incredibly crisp and immersive. Whether I’m gaming on PC or PlayStation, the sound is clear with deep bass and sharp highs, making footsteps and in-game details easy to hear. It also works great for music and videos on my phone — the Bluetooth connection is fast and stable with no noticeable lag. Comfort is another huge win. The over-the-ear cushions are soft and breathable, and even after long gaming sessions, my ears don’t feel sore or overheated. The headset is lightweight but still feels durable and well-built. The Chroma RGB lighting adds a clean, modern look without being over-the-top. It’s customizable and makes the headset stand out without draining the battery too quickly. Speaking of battery life — it lasts a long time between charges, which is perfect for long gaming nights. I also love how versatile it is. Being able to switch between PC, Mac, PlayStation, Switch, Steam Deck, and mobile makes it an all-in-one headset that I can use anywhere. If you’re looking for a high-quality wireless gaming headset that combines performance, comfort, and style, the Razer Barracuda X Chroma is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Got these to let my daughter use when she is gaming on her laptop so she can not only hear better but also chat with her friends. I first had to test them out on my gaming PC and make sure they were good enough though. They charged quickly and so far after using them the last week they seem to hold a fairly good charge through multiple hours of gaming. The audio comes across crisp and clean not a lot of bass while gaming though. I was able to quickly connect them using the included dongle and also via Bluetooth to my PC. One thing I noticed when watching movies or playing games when connected via Bluetooth is it seems to click or pull every so many seconds which tends to be a little annoying. When connected to the dongle I do not notice this clicking or disconnecting of the audio. Pros - Comfortable to wear for long hours - Fairly good job of cancelling outside noise - Charge quickly and have good battery life - Comes with pouch to keep them in Cons - Feel a bit cheap compared to my other Astro or Turtle Beach headsets - Razer axiom software didn't immediately recognize them and still haven't gotten it to see them to synch up to my keyboard and speaker lights - Removable microphone that just plugs in to the 3.5mm port on the headset - Sound quality is good but not great and didn't feel like it was as immersive as my other gaming headsets Overall they are a nice budget friendly pair of gaming headphones and if you like the Razer line of gaming peripherals you will probably be happy with them.

The Razer headset addresses the issue of having a single headset compatible across multiple devices. It works seamlessly with your computer, PlayStation, Xbox, and even your phone via Bluetooth. However, I’ve encountered an issue where I need to reconnect the headset to my phone’s Bluetooth every time I open the app, and every time I turn the headset off and on. This makes it less practical as a work headset. I’m hoping this is just an app-related bug, as it doesn’t feel like standard behavior. The phone app offers some fun customization options, such as changing the ear cover colors. The ear covers themselves are exceptionally comfortable, making them suitable for all-day use. You can also tweak your EQ settings through the app, which is handy. One unique feature is the detachable microphone, which is something I haven’t seen before. It’s a smart design choice, catering to users who also want to use the headset as regular headphones. That said, the sound quality is decent but not outstanding for over-ear headphones, especially in terms of bass, which could use some improvement. I do find the buttons somewhat confusing and unintuitive to locate while wearing the headset, though this might be a matter of personal preference. All and all, as a versatile, all-in-one headset, it’s hard to go wrong with this option. It’s thoughtfully designed, offers a range of features, and provides a comfortable fit.

The Razer Barracuda X Chroma is hands-down one of the best wireless gaming headsets I’ve used. Right off the bat, the headset is impressively comfortable: the earcups are soft and lightweight, making it easy to wear for hours during long gaming or work sessions. Setup was painless — pairing with PC, console, or mobile was quick, and the wireless connection has been stable throughout use. Sound quality is top-tier: games sound immersive with clear directional audio, dialogue is crisp during cutscenes, and music streams with good depth. The Chroma lighting adds a nice aesthetic flair without being over-the-top, and the build feels premium yet not bulky. Battery life holds up well for extended gaming sessions or media watching. Overall, this headset delivers on comfort, flexibility, and performance — a great choice if you want a wireless headset that works across platforms and looks as good as it sounds. Highly recommend it.

The Barracuda X Chroma headset is OK but not great. On paper, the gaming headset looks great. It boasts features like 70-hour battery life, 40 mm drivers, and SmartSwitch Dual Wireless Technology, BUT I had one major issue. For me, there are 3 qualities that I look for in a good set of gaming headsets; Do they sound good, do they fit my head, and can I wear them comfortably for hours on end? The Barracuda X Chroma falls short in one of these key qualities, the sound. I'm not sure If I received a faulty unit but as soon as I put them on, I instantly could hear what sounded like interference. I tested this out on my PS5 Pro and I had them connected via the wireless USB dongle. Anytime there was a moment where there was no sound output or low sound output, I would get a static sound from both of the ear cups. This would go away and be less noticeable when I was in a game but anytime I was in a menu or there was a lull, it would immediately come back. This is the main reason I can't recommend them. Your milage may vary and I might have a bad set but this is something I find unacceptable in this price range. As far as fit, they feel great on my large head (no pinching) and there's no doubt I would be able to wear them for hours on end. The other complaint I have is due to personal preference. I personally like to have ambient noice come through the ear cups so I can hear how loud I'm talking and adjust accordingly. This gaming headset doesn't have active noise cancellation but it does block out 60% of the white noise in the room. Which is great if that's your preference but for me it's not what I'm looking for. Everything else is great and the headset delivered on most of its promises, it just fell too short in the area that matters most to me when I'm gaming.

The Razer Barracuda X Chroma headset is so immersive, I forgot I had roommates—and possibly a job. The sound quality? Crisp enough to hear enemy footsteps, distant loot drops, and the subtle sigh of a grumble of pugs disappointed I didn’t pick support again. The Chroma lighting makes me look like a cyberpunk DJ lost in a rave. Wireless range? I made a sandwich in the kitchen while still trash-talking in-game. Battery life outlasts my will to grind ranked. This headset didn’t just level up my audio—it made me the pug-whisperer of warzones. 10/10, even the pugs approve (grumpily).

[Employee of bestbuy] Sound quality, it's phenomenal and the adjustments on the head are great, very comfortable. I really like the metal frame . I don't have to worry about them breaking or falling off, like another brand did. The range on the Bluetooth is great. Anywhere in the house with.Out having to take the headset off if I need to get up. I do play games a lot so I have to charge it at least twice a week. But being able to play the games, why it's charges is not inconvenience.

The chief reason this isnt a max star review is because of a few things I have run into with this headset. First of the good things. It is light and very comfortable to wear. It has excellent battery life and it being able to connect to your phone is nice as well. My issues with this headset as a long time razer user are as follows, it uninstalled my graphics driver when I initially installed the software for it on my computer, I had to use my drawing tablet to reinstall the driver, did some reading and discovered that this is a common issue with this specific headset, razer needs to fix this cuz uninstalling stuff is not ok, my other issue that I have as yet to resolve is the microphone does not work, this could be simply user error on my part and I use a blue yeti mic with my computer so its not a big deal for me but this could be a potential issue for other people, big reason I got this headset because I literally wore out my old razer nari to the point that the earcups were disintegrating at the connection points, its a decent headset but people should be aware of what they might be purchasing, hoping this is not a foretelling of razer quality going down since I have tried other headset brands and this is the one I keep coming back too.

really good quality sound, battery life is long and longer with dim lights. lights are so customizable! only con is that they slip off my head often, maybe just gonna get a band to keep it in place, best headphones I love them and they stay connected to both my phone and other devices like PS5.

I bought these headphones for my 16 year old son for his birthday. He is a PC gamer and has had trouble finding headphones that are comfortable, have great sound, and are durable. He loves these headphones, and said they are the best ones he has ever used. That is saying something because he usually very picky and doesn’t go out of his way to tell me how good something I got him is! Based on what I paid for them compared to other headsets over the years and my son’s positive comments , I would say these headphones are a no brainer for any serious gamer to try out.

Best headset I’ve ever owned! Calls are crystal clear, the surround sound is amazing, and the option to control the RBG from my phone is convenient. I wish the sizing could go just a touch smaller, but even for my small head it’s a comfortable set. I wear glasses at the computer and I can wear them with this headset for hours without issue. The only frustration I had was simple user error - you need to double click the button to switch between Bluetooth and the dongle.

As title says " Love em!" Not much to complain about at all .. not much as in zero complaints! I've owned these for almost six months now and I use them every day like the entire time I'm awake. So you know they gotta be comfortable as all get out if that's how i roll! My ears don't even get hot like other headsets in the past. I will say that getting into the app to change the lighting was a bit wonky to me because I had to download the app on my phone to access any setting for the lighting. One I had the lights all cued up to my color and installed the 7.1 software from razer these things have failed to let me down yet, 5 out of 5 stars and yes I would recommend to the homies!

Headphones work great. Sound of quality is perfect. I can barely hear any outside noise. The RGB is very cool and very easy to set up on the PC. I downloaded the Razer software and was very easy to pair and set up the RGB. Overall headphones are worth the price!
