Customers are satisfied with the Battle Bundle, particularly praising the excellent sound quality and comfort of the headset. Many appreciate the mouse and the large mousepad, finding the entire bundle to be a great value for the price. The lightweight design of both the headset and mouse is also frequently highlighted as a positive feature.

I'm a stickler for products that offer a great "price-to-performance ratio." If that was my only criteria for products, the Razer Battle Bundle would be perfect (assuming its on-sale price of $69.99 USD.) However, on closer inspection and with some use, the quality and ease of use of the bundle as a whole is brought into question.
Overall: Great value at $69.99. Included peripherals are adequate if not above average. Aesthetics are classically oriented towards the gamer by Razer, but perhaps not too obnoxious for the office or home productivity user. I originally bought the bundle to be a mobile (laptop) peripheral kit, but the included mouse has become part of my permanent desktop setup.
-DEATHADDER V2 Mouse-
As a regular gamer who plays mostly competitive FPS's and has relatively large hands, the DeathAdder V2 has become my favorite mouse of all time. For almost 5 years I was accustomed to using the previous iteration, the DeathAdder V1, so I've been familiar with the feel and design of the mouse. The V2 is a welcome upgrade, featuring revamped button shapes on the top of the mouse, seemingly better durability (I cannot attest to long term use beyond 4 (four) months as of writing this review), and upgrades to the scroll wheel, grip tape, and cable. I never game above 800 DPI, but high-sens players will welcome its 20,000 DPI optical sensor, which has felt extremely precise. Combined with 100% PTFE feet, this mouse is designed for the competition. With such comfortable palmability, the DeathAdder V2 excels in longer session office and productivity applications, too. Of the three products that come in the Battle Bundle, the DeathAdder V2 is easily my favorite for its quality, shape, and features. Oh - let's not forget about it's fully customizable RGB, which can also be turned off in environments where it may be distracting.
-BLACKSHARK V2 X-
First and foremost, I am glasses user. I cannot see my computer screen in detail without my glasses. This is very important to this review, because, as a glasses wearer, the BlackShark V2 X just didn't make the cut as far as comfort goes. The muffs are too firm for me, causing the arms of my glasses to be pressed into my temple and under my ear. This becomes quite painful after around 30 minutes of use, and most gamers (including myself) will game for sessions upwards of an hour. The construction felt a little flimsy due to the thin wires, lack of tactile adjustment levels on the muffs, and some perceivable "plasticiness," but I cannot complain about an only-okay build quality for the on-sale price of the bundle. According to my Discord buddies, the microphone is clear enough, but not excellent. The headset is not lacking in features; I found the rotating volume nob and dedicated MUTE button both very useful and convenient. An included audio Y-split adapter may benefit some. The included carrying bag is helpful and fits the headset well, but the headset doesn't collapse enough to be an adequate travel piece. The BlackShark V2 X is definitely a shortfall of the bundle for a glasses user like myself, but I imagine they could be comfortable for a much longer period of time if glasses weren't in the equation. It is an acceptable headset, but I was disappointed with its build quality and glasses-compatibility.
-GIGANTUS V2 M - BLACK-
The thing is a mousepad. There isn't too much to say, other than that this is far superior to those old, plastic coated circular ones. In fact, the Gigantus V2 is above average in quality, with a nice smooth feel, good mouse glide, and welcomely minimal branding. For my case, it's compact enough to throw into a backpack for travel, but not too small to competitively play most games at low sensitivity.
The Battle Bundle is definitely competitive and value-packed at its on-sale price of 69.99, but I cannot strongly recommend the bundle at its retail price of around $149.99 because of the somewhat lacking headset.

When I received this, my first thought was that it would be even better with a keyboard. But, then I remembered just how different keyboards can be with the various sizes and key styles. So, if you were looking to get someone something that just got a computer or wanted something more than just a decent mouse, this fits the bill. This is essentially a starting pack for anyone that wants to play on a computer without too much flair.
The headphones don’t have any fancy lighting or settings like some do, but they provide exactly what is needed. Decent sound quality, some noise isolation so you can focus on the game and clear voice communications. With the standard 3.5.mm jack you can use them on anything with a headphone jack. I've been using mine more on the Xbox than PC lately, and they work great. There is volume and microphone mute on the left earcup. The mute has no real feedback other than realizing it is depressed for mute. There is color exposed when it’s not muted, but it sits on the back side of the earphones and is something you can only notice when removed. It takes some getting used to as I usually have a wire based mute/volume that you can look at, but those configurations also tend to create feedback on voice comms for some reason. The microphone seems to have some pretty aggressive noise cancellation as well, as my friends claim they can’t hear me or my words break up unless it is really close to my mouth. A good thing to help keep out background sounds.
The mouse is lightweight and comfortable to hold. It really makes it feel smooth when combined with the Gigantus V2 mouse pad, listed as M for medium, but this is fairly big. The mouse works great just plug and play, but the real features of the mouse are unlocked when you install the Razer Synapse software and get into customizing it. You can change the color patterns, change the 8 button functions around and make additional profiles, stored to the mouse, that can be swapped with a button on the bottom. You can also change the stages in which the DPI button switches through from a crawling low DPI to a blazing 20,000 that just felt impossible to control, it moves so fast.
Overall this is a great combo pack. Whether you were looking for a mouse or headphones, we all enjoy getting a little refresh on gaming equipment and Razer seems to bring it every time.

I play a handful of PC games and am always looking for new accessories to “up” my “low” gameplay.
In the combo pack, I got the BLACKSHARK V2 X headset, GIGANTUS V2 mouse pad and the DEATHADDER V2 mouse.
I’ll highlight the things I like (Good) & am a bit skeptical about (Meh), for each piece of the kit.
BLACKSHARK V2 X:
I noticed pretty quickly that my ears became warm during an hour or so of continuous play. With only a short 3.5mm non-removable cable, distance was an immediate concern. To extend the cable, an audio/mic splitter is included, but you need to light up each 3.5mm port. To me, that’s silly and I used a DAC that I had from my Logitech G Pro X. While it doesn’t solve the short cable issue, it does allow me closer access, as I can use a front USB port and not have to string a long cable to the back of the tower.
There are no ridges for the headphone height adjustments to fall into. While this can be good, as there’s a more accurate fit - it’s a bit of an issue as it constantly needs slight adjustments to fit properly after taking them off, hanging them, putting them back on and so on.
GIGANTUS V2
This medium sized pad is like glass. When combined with the DEATHADDER v2, it’s a seamless movement. Compare it to a whole-desk pad - this is insanely slick. Medium is noted as the size which is good - about 12x14 and encompasses the amount of space I need for FPS, which is my game of choice. Having an anti-slip grip is great as well, because I don’t like having to adjust the pad during play.
DEATHADDER v2
A wired mouse that feels bigger than I’m used to, coming from a G604; lighter is an understatement. But it’s not bigger, it’s just angled differently, but it’s much lighter. The G604 drops off at the left/right click while the DEATHADDER v2 extends out straighter; this took some getting used to and my wrist felt it. Whether the new grip or position, I found much better accuracy in my games and that was a welcoming change, as I’m normally trash. I do have to say however, having only two buttons on the left/inside of the mouse is limiting, I use four with my G604. Add a few more mappable buttons inside and this is a 110% winner. During gameplay, I felt that the clicks were instantaneous and that’s an expectation with any wired gaming mouse. Moving to a more claw-like click action lessened the wrist strain and increased reaction time; LOVE IT.
Software:
RAZER Synapse runs alongside every other RGB / DAC that you may have running on your PC. Allowing you to remap EVERY key is great and control over the RGBs helps for those that are pickier than me.
TL;DR:
Headphones:
Good:
No notches for sizing - more accurate fit
Sound depth
Single-side, on-headphone adjustments for volume & mute
Sturdy microphone w/ foam windscreen (removable)
Meh:
No DAC - uses 3.5mm cable / 3.5mm splitter
They look chintzy
Slides easily, needs constant fitting adjustments
Ears constantly warm, need an “air break”
Mousepad:
Good:
Like glass
Thickness
Cleanly stitched label
Non-skid base
Meh:
Nothing
Mouse:
Good:
Smooth operation
Light
Lighting clicks - no delays
Meh:
Not enough side buttons for keymaps

An Excellent Start for a Gamer!

The Razer Battle Bundle is a perfect name for this bundle, and with most gamers needing (or wanting) a great gaming mouse, a mouse pad, and a headset this seems like a worthy contender. If you’re at all curious about the use of Razer within the gaming community, all you need to do is launch any number of gaming streams to see Razer devices used across platforms.
In the bundle, you’ll find the DeathAdder gaming mouse, the Gigantus mousepad, the BlackShark headset, and a splitter cable for use with separate mic input and speaker output. To get the most of your new DeathAdder, you’ll need to download and install the free Razer app to control the lighting, and to allow for integration into various 3rd party platforms.
The DeathAdder mouse features 8 programmable buttons (when used with the Razer App), is lightweight, has a comfortable ergonomic design, and has a really flexible USB cable that moves smoothly during use. It should be noted that the mouse alone is usually priced around $70, and is an excellent addition to most gamer arsenals. If you program the 5 on board profiles, you can plug and play the mouse into any PC or Mac and keep your preferred settings for immediate use. The app allows you to even program macros, which can even be triggered by a specific app or game. This makes switching games easy, requiring fewer steps to enable your favorite button layout and macros for your game.
If you’ve ever hit the edge of a mousepad while playing a fast paced FPS, or even during space combat, you know the pain of constant skips from the mouse falling off the edge. Razer provides a solution with the Gigantus. It’s a large mousepad, and as the name cleverly states, gives you a perfect surface area for your new DeathAdder to slide across. I play FPS, RPG, RTS, and space open sims with not one instance of a skip in movement due to an edge hit. It’s even made it easier to create and edit in graphic imaging apps like Photoshop. I absolutely love this mousepad, and can’t imagine ever buying a standard size one again. The top layer is a smooth cloth surface, while the bottom offers a bit of grip to keep from moving around, even during intense movements during FPS gameplay.
The BlackShark headset is a great entry level gaming headset, and completes the Battle Bundle. The lightweight allows for longer periods of use, while the high quality drivers provide clearer sound compared to most unpowered headsets. The headset includes a volume dial, a spring loaded mute button, a flexible microphone for easy positioning, and an attached audio cable for microphone input and speaker output. While there isn’t any RGB lighting, the Razer badging and design is recognizable, and works incredibly well. If you’re using standard PC sound output and inputs, the included Y cable splits the microphone and speaker lines. Otherwise, you can plug this into any unified 3.5mm speaker jack from your gaming laptop or device. There is even an included storage case, made out of a nice soft fabric, to store the headset when not in use.
Overall, this lives up to the Razer name, and with the excellent DeathAdder and Mousepad alone, this is a great purchase for those just getting into gaming, or someone wanting to upgrade from a more basic setup.

This Razer bundle completes my gaming setup without hurting my pocket. What is included in this bundle:
DeathAdder V2: US$69.99
The mouse has an ergonomic and lightweight design, fits my grip, and is very comfortable. The mouse switch is optical (20K DPI), which uses light to transforms the light beam into a click. My gaming experience, besides my office work, was great using this Razer mouse as its responsiveness was apparent, Razer Synapse-enabled to customize Chroma lighting effects in addition to program buttons total of 8: scroll click, two side buttons, profile cycle button on the back of the mouse, right-click, scroll up, scroll down, sensitivity increase up/ decrease down. The scroll is tactile and feels good. Mouse cable is braided and durable.
Mouse pad Gigantus V2 Size M: US$9.99
The mouse pad is my favorite type which is made of cloth and textured that helps the mouse swipes like a fluid and the size that serves as a cushioning wrist rest. The back of the mouse is textured. I have a smooth keyboard tray, and this mousepad is placed firm and does not move or slip off.
BlackShark V2 X: US$59.99
This is a multi-platform that works with any device that has a 3.5mm audio jack. It is the midrange tier of the headset, so I wasn't expected anything special such as wireless functionality or hyperdense haptic. Nevertheless, it is very comfortable, and I can barely feel it is in my head—50 MM drivers with a clear voice and good noise cancellation. I have tried it for almost a week on my Pc as well as my Xbox Series X, and my friends said that my voice is super clear and noise is blocked out while I can listen to chat and game sound clearly with one caveat, 7.1 sound surround work on PC with Windows 10 64 bit only, BUT you need a 7.1 audio enhancer adaptor. However, I liked this headset much, and from my perspective, this headset provides everything at a competitive price while quality, comfort, multi-platform usability, clear mic, and noise-canceling are equipped. If you don't want to worry about charging and connectivity issues, then this headset is a good choice.

Great gaming starter combo pack

Amazing all in one gaming combo. If you already have a gaming keyboard, all you need is this combo to complete your gaming gear and start fragging.
This combo includes a gaming mouse mat, headphones/mic and a mouse.
The mat is great, the top is a soft but sturdy cloth, where any mouse will glide effortlessly, the back side is a grippy kind of plastic material (feels more like polyurethane) which will grab your desk without moving for sure. It has a nice green accent on the edges (classic Razer green, I love it).
The included mouse is Razer’s Death adder V2. I love this mouse. The RGB lightning is nice and not on your face. The buttons are sharp and can be all programmed using Razer’s Synapse 3 program. What I love about his mouse, is that this version now has onboard memory. Meaning you can save your settings to the mouse and if you take it to another PC/laptop your settings will be in it and there is no need to install Synapse again on that other PC. The mouse’s cable is braided and soft, it bends nicely.
The headset is super comfy, they have put some soft of memory foam/gel on top (the curved part that goes over your head and feels amazing, even after several hours of gaming). The connections are basic, meaning there is a super long cable that ends on a minijack combo (all in one, just one connector), which you can use with a console or phone i.e. However, they also include an additional long cable, that adapts that lone minijack, to two separate ones, mainly for us PC users (one minijack for audio, the other for the mic). The cables are plastic but of a nice texture and I love the Razer green color. The cable is non removable though, the part that attaches to the headset is permanently there. Same for the mic. Now, I say the connections are basic because there is no included USB dac or USB sound card of some sort. You must plug the headset into your PC’s sound card. The headset itself has two controls, one for volume and another for muting the mic. The ear pads are extremely comfy, I think the same soft foam/gel that the top part has, they seal your ears in very nicely (it is a closed back headset). Sound is great and stereo. If you would like to have some sort of surround sound, you must use window’s sonic or Dolby atmos. Razer also has its own surround sound you can download for free (they also have a more premium, paid one, that has positional audio, kind of Atmos, it is called their THX solution).
I highly recommend this combo to anyone that already has a gaming keyboard. You will be set to start fragging in a jiffy!

--- Installation---
This Razer Battle Bundle (RBB) comes with three things: A giant mouse pad, a gaming mouse, and gaming headphones. The mousepad is made out of rubber and doesn’t connect to anything. The gaming mouse uses a USB connection and works as plug and play, but you can install Razer software to customize it even further. The headphones have a cable extension so that you can connect it to the PC using the microphone and headphone ports or you can remove the extension cable and only connect it using a three ring auxiliary plug (which accesses the microphone and audio through the same jack). Everything is simple to connect and use right away.
--- FEATURES ---
This RBB features a customizable mouse with multiple profiles and customizable lights. The bottom of the mouse has two smooth sliders to better glide the mouse. Headphones feature volume control and mic mute from the left earcup.
--- PERFORMANCE ---
*** Mouse Pad ***
The mouse pad covers a very large area. If you’ve used a mouse pad before, then you know what to expect. The larger area is great for games that will have you moving your mouse a lot. This is perfect for first person shooter games.
*** Mouse ***
The mouse and the mouse software are the standout here. This gaming mouse called the DeathAdder V2 offers just the necessary bells sans the whistles. With the mouse, you can change the DPI on the fly with two DPI buttons, have multiple custom profiles that can be swapped with the click of the profile button below the mouse, and have an additional two side buttons for you to customize your macros.
*** Headphones ***
The headphones are a good entry pair of headphones, but don’t particularly stand out. They will cover your entire ear and I appreciated the extension cable that allowed me to move away from the PC without fear of pulling it with me at short distances (6 ft).
--- EXPECTATIONS ---
I expected to have one of the peripherals in the bundle box to be subpar compared to the rest. Though the mouse is definitely why you want this RBB, the other two items are welcomed entry-level gaming peripherals. The headphones are wired and the microphone doesn’t retract and can’t be removed. However, since the earcups fully cover most ears, environment sound outside of your game will be blocked off better allowing you to focus on your game. If you have Dolby Atmos, then you can use these with surround sound-like effects. As far as the mousepad goes, you need a lot of desk space to make sure it fits where you plan to use it. I’ve included a picture with an Xbox controller so you can get an idea of the size that it is.
--- VALUE ---
For the price, you are getting a great introductory bundle that will start your new-to-gaming experience on the right foot.
--- APPROVAL ---
I recommend the Razer Battle Bundle to new-to-PC gamers that want to have a low investment, maximum enjoyment into the most used PC gaming peripherals out there. This bundle makes for a great gift idea to PC gamers who are lacking one or all three of these devices.

Decent starter kit for the would-be hardcore gamer
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Bottom line: Razer put a pretty decent foot forward with this gamer-oriented starter kit--definitely a good value for what you get, especially if you can snag it while a sale is running.
Blackshark Headset:
I've run through several dozen gaming/virtual surround headsets over the years including some highly regarded staples of the gaming scene like the Astro A50, Hyper X Cloud II, Logitech G933, as well as my current stable of gaming cans that include the Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless & Arctis 7, Logitech G Pro X, and Audeze Mobius. I had tried and passed on the various Kraken models from Razer because of comfort and sound issues, but I was pretty jazzed about the Blackshark V2 X headset included in the Battle Bundle after auditioning the Blackshark V2 at an in-store display and marveling at the comfort and stellar sound quality from the demo soundtrack. On paper, the V2 X seemed like it might be even more compelling than the V2 by coming in 22g lighter while still supporting 7.1 virtual surround. But the devil is always in the details and there were a few aspects to my experience that ultimately let some of the wind out of my sails.
First, the good stuff--the Blackshark V2 X really DOES sound quite wonderful--it's articulate, detailed, and pleasantly bass-heavy as most gaming headsets tend to be, but not overly so to the point where the bass became fatiguing and bloated like the Cloud IIs tended to be after extended listening. For music and multimedia playback, the Blackshark V2 X performed well above where its price point would have you expect, easily keeping pace with my Arctis Pro and Arctis 7 headsets--the Logitech G Pro sounded muffled and thin by comparison at the same hardware/volume settings. The V2 X doesn't come with a USB sound card so you are limited to the 3.5mm port and software/hardware capabilities of your computer/laptop; but that also means you can use the Blacksharks basically anywhere you can find a 3.5mm stereo or combo port without having to worry about an extra dongle. On-ear controls are simple with a push-button for muting the mic and a rotary volume dial--no fumbling in the dark for controls or complex push-and-hold button patterns to memorize. The headband is generously padded and pleather-covered for comfort--I didn't notice any hot spots at the top of my head even after extended gaming sessions. The thick foam earpads are a combination of pleather outer & inner-sidewalls with microfiber fabric for the part of the pad that actually touches your skin--this combination helps give a little boost to lower-end frequencies while not making your ears sweaty during use. The audio cable is non-detachable but modular; it features a combo 3.5mm stereo/mic plug at the end of the shorter 4-ft segment that snakes out of the left earcup, with a longer 5-ft extension cable providing dual 3.5mm breakout plugs at the end to accommodate separate headphone and mic jacks. The boom mic is also captive and features a removable foam windscreen; the boom itself retains its position very well regardless of orientation without a slow sag or recoil back to its original position. Razer rounds out the package with a very lightweight drawstring bag to keep it all together while on the go--it won't provide any protection, but it's a nice addition to keep everything organized when you're on the go.
With so much going for it; what's not to like? First off, despite the fact that the V2 X is lighter than the pricier V2 X (they're the lightest pair of gaming headphones I own right now by a wide margin), and the headband was padded thickly enough to avoid any top-side hot spots, I still found them somewhat uncomfortable over time. The earpad openings aren't all that large, leading to a good deal of material pressing down on the outer folds/lobes of my ears. This is fairly common for gaming headsets and normally, by itself, isn't a deal-breaker. But even with their ultra-lightweight build, the inward clamping force exerted by the earpads was surprisingly high (I think in part because the curvature of metal headband is fairly unyielding), to the point where I couldn't wear the Blackshark V2 X for more than about 20-30 minutes at a time before my ears started to get really sore. Because ergonomics/anatomical fit is very personal, I HIGHLY encourage you to audition a set for yourself to see if this is even an issue for you. Second, mic quality was only okay--my teammates could hear me just fine, but my voice was often accompanied by metallic-sounding distortions that were easily audible in higher frequencies and at leading edges of my words. Finally, the V2 X only offers Razer's baseline 7.1 virtual surround sound solution...it's a separate application and to activate it, you must redeem a code that accompanies the headset, which means the effect is only available on PCs where you've installed the 7.1 client and logged in with your Razer ID. While that's true of many apps, this virtual surround solution isn't seamlessly integrated with Windows the way Windows Sonic, DTS Headphone X, or Dolby Atmos is--you have to select a separate virtual 7.1 playback device, then turn on the 7.1 surround processing using another app. The effect adds some noticeable depth to an otherwise flat soundfield--about on par with Windows Sonic--but it's not very expansive or pin-point accurate and falls WAY behind DTS or Dolby (or Audeze's Waves NX) in terms of immersion, panning effects/coherence, or discrete sound-source localization. You're encouraged to upgrade to the THX Spatial Audio app for "even greater immersion" and are offered a 50% code (at the time of this writing) to do so, but the downgrade in virtual surround capabilities was still a bit disappointing.
Deathadder Mouse:
Okay, so the headset was maybe a bit of a mixed bag...what about the Deathadder V2 wired mouse? Actually, I'm happy to report it's pretty darned good! The braided cable is 7 feet long and very pliable. The fabric covering (Razer's "Speedflex" braid) has a pretty tight weave which didn't seem to snag on errant hardware, other cables, or the furniture and was light enough to offer essentially zero resistance in use--coupled with the mouse body that clocks in at 82g on its own and mousing comfort easily approached that of using a high-quality, eSports-grade wireless mouse. I've pictured it below alongside my Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB and Logitech G Pro Wireless to give you a bit of a size comparison. The Deathadder V2 is slightly asymmetrical in shape with left-side indent to accommodate the thumb and thumb buttons, while the right side bulges outward just slightly to give the right-most fingers a more natural resting place. Ergonomics were stellar--I wear a men's size large in most gloves and I'm able to comfortably rest my whole hand on the mouse rather than having to claw or cup the mouse to keep it under control. In fact, the Deathadder V2 is slightly on the larger side which I think will work to most people's advantage. I had to move my hand forward slightly on the housing in order to comfortably reach the front-most thumb button without having to stretch during gameplay; but because the mouse is a bit larger anyway, I didn't have to constantly readjust my grip whenever I used one of the auxiliary thumb buttons (the other two programmable buttons are much smaller and sit beneath the scroll wheel--these aren't necessarily easy to press in the heat of battle). Bright LEDs illuminate the scroll wheel and a large Razer logo on the shell; lighting effects can be adjusted in Razer's Synapse 3 client though the scroll wheel and logo LED colors/effects cannot be set independently. A small button on the underside cycles through one of 5 profile memory slots where you can store multiple configurations/key assignments/macros to suit your needs. The optical sensor goes all the way up to a staggering 20,000 DPI--even on my 35" ultrawide, the slightest nudge at 20K DPI sent the mouse flying across the screen; but if you need that kind of ultra-fine precision, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything more capable at the moment.
The only word of caution here is the Razer Synapse client itself--this is a separate download from the 7.1 virtual surround app that came with the headphones, but it's required to customize mouse buttons/functions, adjust optical sensitivity and polling, change lighting profiles, or calibrate mouse performance for a new surface. Even without installing the PC performance-tweaking Razer Cortex, or Chroma Studio for even more complex and cross-product lighting effects, the Synapse client had 8 separate processes consuming just under half a GIG of RAM running on my PC even at idle. Most serious gamers will probably have enough RAM to handle the extra load, but the additional overhead is worth noting for those of you who are constantly chasing down gremlins that might be robbing you of a few precious frames per second.
Gigantus Mouse Mat:
This could have easily been a throw-away pack-in, but the Razer mouse mat is actually a pretty fine bit of kit. The rubberized bottom keeps it firmly in place while the black fabric covering, coupled with the teflon glides on the bottom of the Deathadder, makes mousing smooth as glass. There's even a place in the Synapse client to calibrate the optical sensor/tracking specifically for the Gigantus V2 mat; and at 11"x14", a frantic FPS player would likely be hard-pressed to over-extend any mouse movements beyond the edges of the mat. About the only downside to the Gigantus is the black colorway--the fabric surface almost immediately starts showing dust and dander, but some regular TLC and quick shakes above a trashcan should keep it from turning a sickly white/gray over time. While maybe not an "essential" purchase in its own right, the Gigantus is actually a welcome addition to the Battle Bundle--and it certainly seems to elevate the performance of the Deathadder mouse even further.

For an entry/mid level bundle, this package from Razer is exceptional.
Mouse- DeathAdder V2: This mouse is one of the best you will find amongst wired options. The tracking feels superb, especially when paired with a mousepad of decent quality. Fluid movement, a cable of sufficient length, and ergonomic grip makes this mouse exceed expectations in feel and functionality. Not to mention the user-friendly Razer Chroma RGB which illuminates both the palmrest and scroll wheel. Finally, the dual thumb buttons and DPI adjusting buttons enable further ease of access to essential/useful mouse features.
Mouse Pad - Gigantus V2 M: Not much to say here. This mousepad gets the job done and makes a great pairing with the DeathAdder. At the time of writing this review, the mousepad hasn't shown any signs of early wear or a tendency to trap dust and other particles. The medium size will fit well with most desk spaces and leave enough room for keyboards, cases, and any other accessories/peripherals.
Headset - BlackShark V2 X: Tried on both an Xbox Series S and Windows 10 PC, it's safe to say this headset is outstanding for its price point. Comfort - In general, this headset is quite comfortable. However, the clamping force of the headset can become slightly uncomfortable around the ears after long periods of time (sidenote, the earcups are not particularly glasses-friendly, though this is only noticeable after a few hours). Microphone - Without any adjustments, this mic sounds great in party chats on Xbox with good clarity and volume. On PC, no gain is necessary though a simple mic test revealed a very slight white noise in the background (fixed by adjusting the microphone volume to 90 in Sound settings). Last, the microphone itself is flexible enough to be placed in the desired position and the windguard certainly helps in reducing unnecessary noise being picked up (ie. heavy breathing). Audio quality - in stereo mode, the sound is decent, though nothing special. Using the easy-to-setup Razer 7.1 Surround software (only on PC), the sound quality improved slightly and in-game directional audio was enhanced. I also tested this headset with Dolby Atmos and found some detectable differences on both PC and Xbox, and their equalizer profiles were useful in both games and music.
All in all, this bundle is incredible for its price category. Razer is a great brand, and an even better choice when on sale (I picked this up for $80 off). If you're looking to put together or replace these parts of your setup, you would have a hard time finding a bundle which beats this one.

If you’ve never owned a death adder mouse, you should try it out. Super lightweight and an incredibly gratifying clicking sound. Extremely accurate movement for games and such. Headset is comfy and great for travel (comes with a bag). Sound quality is great and my voice is loud and clear in discord. My only gripe with it is that it’s not USB but it’s not meant to be that fancy at this price point. Mouse pad is pretty rockin. Nice added bonus to this package.

There are a laundry list of great things about the Death Adder V2. The shape, the quality feet, the high-quality cord, 20K DPI, Razer optical switches, etc… The customizations, lighting effects and overall responsiveness are nice. My only really complaint is that it’s way too light for me. It helps with speed, especially on the Gigantus – but’s just lighter than I like to game with. It’s an entry level gaming mouse for sure but I would have loved some weight adjustment options.
The Blackshark v2 is another great entry level gaming product. Cool look, comfortable design, nothing too flashy. Mute button and mic on the earcup. Sound quality is above average for the price and the mic is just okay. It too is a little on the light side and does end up feeling a little cheap. This might just be my perception of the weight because it really does feel well made – maybe just not the most high end materials.
The Gigantus V2 is an overall good mouse pad. If you need a medium sized gaming mousepad and don’t want anything too flashy, this is a good choice. Good for gaming and office work. I’d like mine a little larger, but for what it is, no real complaints.
Overall what an excellent kit to get you started in the world of gaming accessories. Razer has managed to pull off a good kit at an incredible price.

Bought for my son. Headset is very comfortable and has a flexible microphone. The mouse is very light and glides along. Mouse pad is larger than normal and has plenty of surface for use with his gaming. Particularly happy with getting it for under $70 as a Black Friday deal.

Picked this up while it was on sale and can't complain at all. The mouse is just what I was looking for, and the headset sounds great for gaming. Would have liked a USB headset but I can't complain about the quality

Originally got this for the mouse because it was cheaper at the time to buy the bundle than the mouse esperare. Headset works great for my laptop and mouse still going strong on my pc.
