These are the best headphones I've ever bought in my life... I have thrown these headphones against a wall, I watched them blow apart. I pieced them back together and I still use them to this day. The mic quality is excellent, the spacial audio is excellent. They have great bass and are pretty comfortable too. You WILL NOT find a better headset, trust me... I'm an expert at breaking them and these things are still alive!

The Razer BlackShark V2 X is a fantastic wired gaming headset. The sound quality is clear and immersive, with strong bass and crisp highs that make games, movies, and music all sound great. The cardioid microphone picks up my voice clearly and cuts down background noise, which is perfect for in-game chat and calls. It’s surprisingly lightweight and very comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. The memory foam ear cushions do a great job at blocking out external noise without making my ears feel hot. Compatibility is excellent—it works across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch without any setup hassle. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go. Overall, this headset delivers excellent performance for the price. If you want great audio, comfort, and a reliable mic in a simple wired setup, the BlackShark V2 X is a great choice.

I've been using this gaming headset for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. The sound quality is amazing – crisp highs, deep bass, and excellent surround effect, which really enhances my gameplay, especially in FPS games. I can hear every footstep and distant gunshot with precision. The microphone is also crystal clear. My teammates say my voice sounds much better than with my old headset. It does a great job blocking out background noise too. Comfort-wise, this headset is top-tier. The ear cushions are soft and breathable, and the adjustable headband fits perfectly without feeling too tight. I’ve worn it for 4–5 hour sessions with no discomfort at all. Build quality feels solid and durable. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, not too flashy, but stylish enough to complement my setup. Overall, this is a fantastic headset for the price. Whether you’re a casual gamer or someone who plays every day, I highly recommend it.

I originally bought these headphones for online classes and video meetings, and they have been absolutely wonderful. The sound quality is excellent — clear, crisp, and perfect for both listening and speaking. The microphone picks up my voice really well, and the headset is very comfortable even after long hours of use. They feel lightweight, durable, and reliable. I highly recommend these not just for gaming, but also for remote work and online learning.

I've been using these for a week or two. They are real comfortable. There is something about surround sound that is advertised but you have to get an app or something that's not on the Apple Store. I didn't get it and they work good enough out of the box. Only thing I don't like is the connection port doesn't connect as firmly as I would like. Seems a little weak.

So far it’s been a great headset and feels awesome to wear, I’ve had headsets where they feel uncomfortable after 30 minutes of gameplay or so especially with glasses, but these feel great. A lot of headsets I’ve used had a mic eco and it would get annoying but not these. Definitely a good choice to consider and great price.

You know how you don't realize that your previous headset was heavy until you buy a new one that isn't? Yeah, that happened. This particular set is feather-light yet feels well-made, and the sound is decent for the price range. Not only do I use them for long gaming sessions, but also for casually listening to music, so they get a LOT of daily use and are probably the most comfortable I've owned, sans one detail described below. On the opposite side of the coin, I had to replace the ear pads within the first week, as the originals had seams just inside the cups that were frequently digging into my ears. If you're sensitive to things like that, pay a little extra and go up to the next higher model (they were on display in my local store and the pads did not have that annoying seam, they are however a bit of a price jump) or plan on finding replacements. Additionally, the 7.1 surround sound (comes as a download link in email after registration, NOT included in the box) also leaves something to be desired. While it might be fine if you mainly play FPS games, for me personally as a non FPS player, it just muddied everything else, so I uninstalled. Overall however, I am extremely happy with this purchase, as comfort with long wear and affordability were the two top things I was looking for.

They're nice. They feel light on the head and cover my (smaller) ears comfortably. They have a good feel and when paired with the software on PC, they sound great! The ear cups insulate really well and there's very little bleed out into the room. I happen to really like the volume knob on the side of the headset - no searching for buttons or hitting the wrong one on accident. However... and this may just be a "me" problem, but when they're plugged into my phone or tablet with the 3.5mm connection they're not the loudest. They're pretty quiet for this price range. In fact, I just checked them on PC and phone playing the same Youtube video on both. The PC topped them out at 90 dB, while the phone was just 60 dB. To verify just how much effect the phone was having, I tried the headset these are replacing and the other set I have. Those were 70 and 75 dB on the phone and high 80's on PC. This tells me the software is giving these a significant boost - which is fine if all you will ever use them for is gaming. Unfortunately for me, these are also meant to replace the headphones I wear at night watching movies - which is over a 3.5mm jack. To be fair, these are marketed as gaming headphones - though I'm not sure how they sound on a console - my kids only left me the PS3. I'm giving 4 stars for the comfort and the great sound on PC. If they weren't as good as they are there, they'd go back. They just don't sound quite good enough or get quite loud enough (for me) to use as an everyday headset for my phone. For those who are unfamiliar with what a 10 dB difference sounds like, 60 is a loud electric toothbrush and 70 is freeway traffic. Also, listening to prolonged sounds above 70 dB is bad for your ears, kids!

After purchasing the Xbox Series X, I dove into researching headsets to play with family across the country. The decision between wireless and wired was tough, but for the sake of mic quality and never having to worry about charging, this Kraken headset became the clear winner. I watched countless mic tests online to make sure I wouldn't sound like I was underwater – and I'm happy to say, the mic on this headset is fantastic. My friends hear me crystal clear, no issues whatsoever. As someone with a larger head and bigger ears, comfort is key, and these ear cuffs don’t disappoint. They fit perfectly, offer excellent noise cancellation, and produce beautiful, crisp sound. I’ve even started using them for my streaming setup since they allow me to easily monitor my mic levels. The handy volume knob on the side is another great touch, keeping me immersed in the game without having to mess with speaker adjustments. Plus, the mic tucks up neatly when I’m not using it, and unlike other headsets with non-detachable mics, it doesn't look bulky on camera. This is my second Kraken headset for Xbox, and I’m definitely sticking with this brand!

The hardware seems good enough for my use - the cord is robust, and the earpieces fit snugly on my head (though it can get somewhat hot, especially with this summer weather). The mic seems alright and has not given me any trouble. This headset probably has decent audio for the price (especially when on sale!), but it's not without its quirks. Before this I've been using earbuds for years, so I really don't remember how surround sound is supposed to feel like. Compared to earbuds, however, while bass is much more present, bass does also just feel more muffle-y, kind of lacking in clarity in my opinion.

My daughter loves the pink color. They are great for canceling out the noise around so that she can focus on what she is doing. The sound is great. These were a nice upgrade from the previous pair that she had. She said that they are very comfortable to wear.

I've had these headphones since November 2024. They are great! I even bought a second pair for my sister. One thing I like most, the earmuffs go over my ears and they have a cloth-like material on the face of the muffs. So, they dont peel or leave black "leather" flecks everywhere like previous headphones I've had. The volumn control on the headphone is nice, also the mic mute button is super convinient and works. I've been told that my voice in chat servers comes across clear. Great buy!

Great headphones! They're comfy except for the occasional annoyance of the ear cuffs falling down. Highly adjustable, great sou d quality. Muffles sound well. My favorite feature is that the volume button is ON the heaset not on the wire like the last headset i had. Highly recommend

Alright, by no means am I an audiophile, but this headset sounds amazing compared to the ones I had. I am coming from Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 1 and have gotten used to their features and sound; I had the Playstation version so those did not work for my new XSX. I originally picked up the Microsoft Wireless Xbox headset, but the sound was not great in my opinion. It sounded too sharp and the stereo field was not wide enough for my liking. I returned those and got this headset instead for a fraction of the price (at the time of this review, BestBuy has it priced at $35.99, and they sent me a $15 gift certificate to use on my next purchase), so in total, I got these for $20.99; not bad! They sound cleaner, crisp but not sharp, and well balanced! They are super comfortable to wear, I was surprised at how good they feel. If you are in the market for a good pair of wired headset, these are it! I like that it comes with an extension cord, and a carrying bag. I am not a Razer user!

This mic is soo good and comfortable and also very affordable. I can hear clearly and it’s easy to adjust the volume which I like and when it comes to comfortable it’s amazing cause when I use it for a while it doesn’t hurt my ears. And it was like 30-50 bucks which was worth it

These are a pair of very affordable, high quality headphones. Very good audio range, decent mic quality that doesn't usually pick up background sounds, fairly comfortable, and good enough length on the cable. But there are two things you NEED to know if you're getting these and you don't read instructions like myself. 1) there's a volume knob on the left side - it controls your mic volume too. 2) there's a mute button, also on the left side - it's very easy to press when you take em off/put em on. I joined a discord voice chat and spent an hour troubleshooting why my mic wasn't working until I found out why. And I did that twice. Once for each feature. Don't be like me. Be better.

I recently purchased the Razer BlackShark V2 headset, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is incredible, thanks to the THX Spatial Audio, which provides an immersive gaming experience. I can hear every detail, from footsteps in FPS games to subtle environmental effects in RPGs. The memory foam ear cushions are extremely comfortable, even during marathon gaming sessions. They block out external noise effectively, allowing me to focus completely. The build quality is solid yet lightweight, so I don’t feel any strain after hours of use. The detachable microphone is another standout feature. It delivers crystal-clear audio for my teammates and makes communication effortless. The headset also comes with a convenient control panel for volume and mute, which is a nice touch. Overall, the Razer BlackShark V2 is a must-have for gamers who want a high-quality, comfortable, and feature-packed headset. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase—highly recommended!
