Of course, the keyboard lighting scheme is fun and could be useful for certain gaming environments, but ... it is the performance of the keyboard that is the most important value. You think "How much difference will I have in responsiveness with a mechanical keyboard?" The Answer is ... you only have to try it to find out. Go get you one!

Fantastic Keyboard with only a couple issues

Had to return mine though because the numpad on the side made it too large to fit on my desk and the macro keys on the left side made it a little awkward to type with but for gaming its awesome!! Went with the blackwidow X tournament edition. Would recommend for someone used to Macro keys and looking for a great keyboard

Razer Keyboard

The light keys are not only cool looking but they make it much easier to see in dim lighting conditions. The only down side to this unit is the price.
