This keyboard performs well under heavy gameplay. It was easy to set up, and plug and play went flawlessly. The background colors are not a distraction. This is the second one of the same keyboard I have purchased. Both are working fine with no perceivable lag. I highly recommend to any serious gamer this keyboard.

Purchased this keyboard as a gift for my partner who is a digital artist as well as a gamer. The keyboard has proven very useful in both fields. The response time is very fast. Aesthetically speaking it looks much more expensive than it is and the array of back-light options are impressive. I would rate it five stars if it were just a little quieter -- but I understand the noise due to the technology inside.

Had this keyboard before, opted for the Logitech G710+ for personal reasons. Got the Blackwidow for my girlfriend. She loves it, I love it. Its a great keyboard. The Razer Synapse really lets this keyboard shine, with programmable macros and lighting effects. Great entry level price, for above entry level quality.

Razer is probably the best gaming peripheral device manufacturer out there. This keyboard has a great tactile feeling, sturdy build, fun lighting pattern customization, headphone jack, and pass-through usb connection. Great board for the price if you're an avid but not yet super hardcore pc gamer!

A really great keyboard m- the positive feel of the keys is superb - a proper click (which some may hate and some may love). I am a professional software developer and my keyboards take a real beating from many hundreds of thousands of clicks every day. I used to use a Microsoft 2000 keyboard which is excellent but I was going through two a year with the keytops wearing off and keys wearing out. This Blackwidow keyboard is guaranteed for two years against failure so if I keep up my rate of working keyboards to death I will be making a profit! A really positive click feel and the back light on the keyboard help with me sighting keys via my peripheral vision which. although I touch type it seems my subconscious needs to have a little visual hint - I keep the lights in my office very low and cave-like because that's how I like to write code. A great product!

This is a fantastic keyboard for gaming. Great tactile feedback and the changing colors add an element of fun. There is no discernable lag between key stroke and response. I would recommend this keyboard for the beginning to moderate gamer.
