I love this keyboard. It's heavy, feels good on the fingers, and looks polished. It's a bit loud due to the switches, but that's how I like my keyboards. If you're looking for a space saver, go for the tournament edition.

This key board is easy to use. Has a great feel to it. Used for everything from writing school papers to games and enjoy every minute of it. I like it so much that I am buying another one to give as a gift to a friend.

I'm a professional writer--have been for many years. For a long while I've been using a very old keyboard. Why? Because having learned to type on a manual typewriter, I feel that a keyboard must have a degree of feel to allow me to type quikcly and accurately. I saw a keyboard similar to the Razer some time ago and liked the way it felt.. I mentioned this to my wife and she was kind enough to give me the new keyboard as a Christmas gift. I love the feel and tactility of the keys and look forward to uising it for years to come (I'm typing on it right now!) I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quality keyboard that has the kind of feel that allows you to type at your best speed.-

Best gaming keyboard I have ever had! f you are looking for a very high quality keyboard with some extra bonus features like a really cool green backlight then this is for you.

Not only is this keyboard a fantastic choice for gamers, but for writers as well! The tactile feel is incredible and is rewarding enough to keep you typing away. Beyond functionality and feel, it's very much worth noting that th built in cord management system is phenomenal. To be honest, I wasn't even aware of the headphone/mic jack and USB ports built right in to the keyboard. It really makes keeping track of your cords a breeze. I am a former DeathStalker user, and I have to also say that the lighting is much brighter and going from a DS to a BW was well worth the money I paid! (112)

I spend half of my day at the computer writing reports and the other half gaming. This keyboard has improved my typing speed by about 10-20% and my accuracy has also improved as well. It takes a few days to get used to the tactile feel of the keys but once you go mechanical you won't go back to a standard keyboard. Also, razer products are built to last and are well worth the extra money. I highly recommend this keyboard. The noise of the mechanical keyboard is the only drawback. My clients can hear me typing while on the phone. Some people find that to be distracting.

I would 100% recommend this keyboard to a friend. In fact, I already have. I gifted my friend one just this past week. Excellent tactile feel to the keys, very responsive, and give a satisfying click when pressed. I would only caution you not to purchase this product if you have a significant other who hates noise. It is quite loud, which is awesome for me--my fiance, on the other hand, wishes I never bought it, lol.

Mechanical keyboard, nice click when you hit a key really nice backlight. Great keyboard for hard use both gaming and not.

Key click and lighting are the best features. Stable construction is better than competition. Gaming experience is far better.

I had a different Razer Keyboard, but the L key kept getting stuck. So, I decided to try a different Razer brand Keyboard. And this one has worked flawlessly for me. I love the backlit technology of the keys. Makes for easy use while the lights are all turned off in the room. The responsiveness of the keys is amazing. Having the 5 extra macro keys is great. And honestly, I just love the sound of the mechanical keys as I pound away at this keyboard. I am buying a second one for my office.

I was in the market for a decent gaming keyboard. Best Buy, with their price matching guarantee made me feel comfortable purchasing this item in store. At the time, this keyboard was cheaper in store than Amazon, so Best Buy didn't need to match prices. (Other consumers should verify). I like the feel of the keys. There are 5 extra keys for Macro's etc. You'll need to install Razer's software to control some of the functions such as brightness and extra keys. I would recommend.

This keyboard is a tank and feels good to type on gamer its the best with its soft keys and rapid response to touch

You'll never go back to a normal keyboard again. The keys feel great with every press and the response us quick.

Ironically we did not buy this as a gaming keyboard. My wife wanted one with larger keys and this one fit the bill. She's used it for school work and been very pleased with the ease of use (once hooked up)

Great key board... Easy to use. I believe it's a must have for every gamer. Plus I love the green color.

Before the 2014 holiday season rolled around I had done a LOT of research on mechanical gaming keyboards - Logitech, Mad Catz, Corsair, Steel Series, etc. - and the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate won out against them all. The features I like the best are as follows: - VERY satisfying clicks as I press the mechanical keys - Every key has an individual LED lighting it up - Microphone, headset, and USB pass through (on right hand side of kb) - Long braided cabling - Razer Software to make your own macros for games, etc. - It looks awesome - PRICE (I got it during the Thanksgiving time sales when it was ~$90) The bottom like here is that Razer is all about gaming. All their products revolve around gaming and how to fine tune different equipment for that specific purpose. They started out years ago making peripherals and with every passing year a newer, better iteration is released. If you're looking for a quality gaming keyboard, look no further - the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate's got you covered.

The lighting is great, the feel and feedback of the keys are exactly what I was looking for.

This is a great mechanical keyboard from Razer. It features a USB port on the side as well as headphone and mic jacks. Be aware that it takes 2 of your USB ports and has plugs for both the mic and headphone ports (if you want to run them through the keyboard) The only issue I had with this product was on the software side of it. Razer seems to have some software issues and after a couple of attempts to get it to install properly it is working great now. The keyboard itself has clean crisp key strokes. Mechanical keys are noisy though, which I was aware of before I bought this. Only wish that Best Buy offered the Black Widow Stealth.

This is a terrific keyboard, easy to see and super sturdy. Its a bit overkill for my uses but I would not change it now that I have used it. The only thing I would improve is to reduce the keying noise; I can hear every click clearly. I suppose this can be an advantage or a disadvantage. I also tend to hit the cap lock occasionally but that is more operator than keyboard. Overall best keyboard I have used.
