Customers highly value the BlackWidow V3 Pro's build quality, RGB backlighting, and wireless functionality, frequently praising the key feel and ease of setup. However, some users express concerns regarding battery life and the quality of the wrist rest and software. Negative feedback also targets the volume wheel and price point.

WAY TOO CLICKY. The keyboard feels great but the clicks are quite loud. The ability to customize RGB is great, but the battery is atrocious. You’ll find that you need to charge it 3 or 4 times each week.
Overall the feel of the keyboard is great, but the actual use leaves much to be desired. Can’t save RGB settings to memory. Must use Razer Synapse software to turn off rainbow unicorn vomit RGB.

It’s a great keyboard, lighting is nice & clean & clear. With the Razer software you can set lighting & other features the way you like it. I like that you have Bluetooth & usb as connection options, however do not like that you can not get full functionality with using Bluetooth. I was excited for the Bluetooth feature, the computer I have built has Bluetooth & liked the idea of not having to use the usb dongle, however once I had it connected I found out couldn’t update the keyboard or use the Razer software. That is my only complaint with the product & would recommend it to anyone wanting a premium product with great features. Also my only other gripe is that my old Razer keyboard’s wrist rest was magnetic & would stay in place, this one is not, but at least has a wrist rest

I really wanted to like this keyboard, but there are some things to be aware of. The first is that it is very clicky. That may not be a big deal for some people, but it is loud. The battery is not great on this either. I'm averaging about 6 hours on a charge. The biggest issue for me is that it loses connectivity a lot using 2.4ghz if you have the dongle next to another wireless receiver. I also have a Viper wireless mouse and this keyboard would lose connectivity a lot. This is also nitpicking but I do not care for the fact that the wrist rest does not have any magnets or anything to keep it attached to the keyboard. For this much money, they could have come up with a better solution.

I picked this keyboard over the huntsman due to the higher actuation force required, as I code as well as game and it helps prevent typos. I enjoy Razer green switches and I like that this keyboard works wireless or wired and has a BT option. I only have two CON's one is that all of Razer's keyboards have the RGB light behind the switch, whereas Corsair and some others have it below the switch shining up through it which provides a better light. As long as the RGB does not bother you and you prefer a well rounded keyboard this will not disappoint. At 130 dollars on sale this was an absolute bargain as well.

This keyboard is really REALLY good. Nice and clicks, response is perfect, LED features are vast and clear, adjustable angle, and heavy duty.
Only con - battery life is LOW. Run this at 50% brightness and you'll get maybe 9 hours of gaming out of it. The recharge is at a snails pace, but does slowly recharge even when in use. Almost not worth the wireless tech if it's plugged in every other day for a charge.

Keyboard is great I’m sure, we have the wired. option so I’m sure it’s the same. Shipping was not good at all they put the shipping label and ton of tape right on the box instead of putting it in a shipping box so the box was also damp seeing as we live in WA..This is a gift for my husband who saves the boxes and takes care of them.

Great keyboard if you enjoy the clickly clack type keyboards. The RGB works perfectly and enjoy the colors I select.
The wrist rest bar does not magnetically attach to the keyboard like the wired version. The wireless keyboard is much lighter than the wired version.

So far as i know, this keyboard looks amazing and with lighting and everything, although since it lights up, it drains the battery pretty quick even from around 75% within 5 minutes of use and plug back in, its around 43% ill keep checking it before i figure out if this is worth it or not

I've been using it with reduced (50%) Spectrum Cycling lighting and the battery is barely going down. I love the clicky sound and feel. There were a couple of keys that were sticking and double or triple printing but that issue has corrected itself.
I love the ability to switch between BT for my work computer and the 2.4 GHz dongle for my home PC. I had a USB Black Widow Chroma before this and decided to ditch the wire. Very happy with the choice, although it is a bit pricey.

Everything seemed great at first. Keys feel good, wireless option was very convenient, and the RGB looked good with the rest of my Razer set up...but then, not even an hour into using it, glitches started happening. I wasn't sure what caused it, but once I switched back to a wired keyboard, the problems ceased. If this issue gets fixed, I will look into getting another one.

Volume wheel design flaw

The keyboard is fairly sturdy and responsive with the glaring exception of the volume wheel (more on that shortly). I like the versatility of switching between computers/tablets (you can bind up to 3) as I typically work on more than one device at a time. You can't switch between devices if its plugged in but the usb cord can be pulled out quite easily so its not really a big deal.
The deal breaker is the volume wheel. It is extremely poorly designed and is practically guarantied to break within a few months of purchase. It will start breaking down and when you try to use it, it will register any spin as both directions effectively preventing any volume change. I spent hours looking for a solution and found out that there is no real solution, its just a fundamental design flaw that Razer will do nothing about. In fact, according to reports it will likely break down to the point that the volume will start glitching and randomly changing even when you don't use the wheel. You can try cleaning it with contact cleaner solution but that lasted all of a week before it was malfunctioning again. Volume control was a key function I looked for in a keyboard so I'm just going to have to replace this overpriced paperweight.
