Overall nice keyboard that is very satisfying to type on and sounds good. Razer software is okay but the lights on the keyboard sometimes don’t turn on. Switches aren’t lasting as long as I would have expected. I have had three switches in the 10 months I have had the keyboard start going bad already with double/multiple activations per single press. Thankfully their swappable switches so I have just swapped them with switches for keys I don’t use much. Disappointed that I already have to do that as other keyboards switches have lasted me years before I had one do that.

Originally I didn't think that I would use the little scroll wheel for the volume but it has been very consistent, I don't get too crazy with the colors but it looks like there are a lot of options. I have had some trouble with cleaning it but I don't know if thats an issue with the keyboard or I'm just cleaning it wrong. Regardless I like how heavy it is and feels like a solid build.

this keyboard has all the bells and whistles you'd want in an enthusiast-level keyboard, but with the latency/rollover specs you'd expect to see in a high-end gaming keyboard.
the 75% layout is wonderful, although it's confusing the over blackwidow v4s lack the same features.
i personally love tactile switches, but they're not for everyone. overall i'm very lucky i prefer the board as-is.
the price is steep. there's no doubt about iti. but if you don't want to compromise on feel or performance, this keyboard is a great option.

Excellent keyboard, feels great stock and has lots of room for customization with the hotswappable switches. A bit expensive though, and the wrist rest is not the best, but still a great keyboard

Honestly, one of the best keyboards I have ever owned. Looks and felt great, ran well for about 6 months no issues. I clean my setup regularly so the keyboard was very well maintained, dusted, etc. After about 6 months, the left shift key started having issues, and after further investigation online this specific model has the issue.
It began with the left shift not working maybe 1 in every 9 times I clicked the key, not too bad but in FPS games very noticeable. Then after about another week, the issue got worse and only worked maybe once in every 4 clicks. 24 hours later, the shift key in it's entirety stopped working. I am using caps lock to type this, the keyboard after another week does not work, is fully updated alongside synapse, and still nothing. Replaced keyboard with another one that was on sale, same make and model. Issue happened again, but after only a month. Will not be purchasing this model again, very disappointed with Razer for the first time.

Just unboxed and super easy to install. Compared to my previous mechanical keyboard, the switches are much quieter, as described, and equally as smooth.
I've been a Razor fan for quite some time, and I wanted to try out one of their minimal keyboards, and this product did not disappoint. Definitely excited to keep shrinking my keyboards and get some use out of this one.

The size of the keyboard was perfect for my desk & setup. Very comfortable and easy to game & work with.
However, I have an issue with the keyboard double typing keys (if not more). Changing the polling rate helps but it did not resolve the issue on my side. Search for "Razer Blackwidow v4 75% typos" and you'll see I'm not the only one experiencing this. I ended up changing the switches.

I absolutely love this keyboard. I'm pretty sure it's probably the only Razer keyboard I've had that I feel truly is a premium product. I love the switches, they're tactile, they feel great, and they are a lot quieter than clicky blue switches, which I am not super into. The actuation force is perfect, and it feels great typing on it. I think it has increased my typing speed and typing accuracy significantly.

Currently my favorite style of keyboard from the razer lineup. The keyboard has good weight, made out of metal unlike others and is the perfect size to do other work on the table.

I went into Best Buy just to pick up something for my PC and I was not planning to buy a keyboard at all. But then I spotted the BlackWidow V4 75% on display, and it looked too good not to try. One quick test, and I liked it, I knew I had to have it. After a couple of weeks of using it daily, I can honestly say it’s one of the best keyboards I’ve owned. The RGB lighting is vibrant, it feels super comfortable, and the sound is just right. Plus, I haven’t had any issues with it at all. Perfect for gaming and everyday use—couldn’t be happier with it!

Great keyboard. It’s fine out of the box but I’m planning to swap out the switches and keycaps to match my rig for a LAN event next month.
No issues with anything, no rattling, great keyboard. And unlike most others, I actually like the razer software to customize the settings on the keyboard.
Coming from a Steel Series Apex Pro, my dog jumped on my desk and ripped the board in half, it feels about the same, although the switches are different. Sound and stability is better on the razer. I would pick the v4 over the apex pro any day, unless you would actually change the actuation point of your key strokes then the apex is the way to go.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 is great when it works, with solid build quality and vibrant RGB lighting. However, it suffers from double typing and unresponsive keys, even after cleaning. For the price, the reliability issues are disappointing. Unless Razer fixes these problems, it’s hard to recommend.

I’ve owned multiple Razer keyboards and this is by far the best one. The great typing experience is the sum of multiple features that would normally be associated with enthusiast-level custom keyboards, such as a gasket-mounted pcb with swappable switches and tape mod insulation, among other things. If I had to give feedback for potential improvement then I would say that it would be nicer to have a sturdier, heavier chassis made with more metal. I think offering a more premium chassis build would be killer for anyone that wants a higher caliber typing experience while also holding on to the benefits of Razer Synapse RGB control, regardless of whatever price point. Great job Razer! Now, if only inventory for the white version was available through Best Buy at the same time that the black variant became available, that would be nice…

Wanted to downsize from a 100% keyboard to a smaller one. I love the sound of the orange switches and the size is perfect! I love that I’ll be able to change the switches easy peasy if I choose to as well! Of course it’s pricey but you’re paying for Razer

This keyboard is actually really nice! the colors, or lack thereof make it a nice minimalistic feel and look, the RGB are nice and the feel of the keys are premium as well!
