First thing you will want to do is upgrade the hdd with an ssd. I bought this when it was on sale for $1299. I use an external gpu, but having the 1660 ti is nice while on the road. You do get the upgraded power brick with this one which is nice. If you don’t need the high end screen, then it’s a good buy when on sale. As far as build quality, it is nice. Finger print magnet but can only be compared to MacBooks when it comes to materials and premium feel.

It is sold sight unseen because it is not in the stores. It is labeled as a touch screen but is not it is an IPS MATTE DISPLAY. It is still a great computer for the price and I am sure now that this is the 2nd review saying this they will change the wording. If they don’t right away DONT BE FOOLED. Best Buy you should be better than this.

If you plan on playing games I would invest in a cooling pad though. With some tweaks to the settings the battery life while unplugged is good for such a powerful computer 5 to 6 hours for me. All around great buy.

2nd time I’m sending for repair

Is the second time I’m sending for repair in 3 months. Eventhough is under warranty is painful to go through customer service and wait hours on the phone. Just want to return it and get a refund, I don’t want to send multiple times to solve the same issue. Clearly they don’t know how to repair. Very disappointed!

You sht it down and turn it on again and it will start. Replaced it for an alienware.
