Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Blade 17's performance features, such as its powerful processor and graphics card. However, a common concern among users is the relatively short battery life. Some users found the battery only lasted for a few hours on a single charge. This may be a significant drawback for users who need extended periods of unplugged use.

Very solid laptop, and I got it right before my warranty on my last one expired, thankfully, so it had a great value for me as well! This laptop is very powerful and even on battery saver, only lasts about four hours (as is expected from a gaming laptop). It's extremely fast, though! It is quite tempting to keep it on the charger all the time, so be careful of this -- it caused my last Razer Blade to have an inflated battery. Ideally, keep this thing between 20 and 80 percent battery or so, and you'll be fine. Another note to potential buyers: these laptops are not available in stores, and are only available online. Factor in the timing for shipping. I did not know this until walking into the store and not being able to get one.

5/5. Perfect gaming laptop for when I'm traveling, was split between this and the alienware 17 but glad I went with razer. Runs flawlessly, 0 issues whatsoever.

I really wanted to like this laptop but this is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. For the price, I expected this laptop to last at least a few years before it started experiencing problems, but that wasn't the case. After 17 days the screen started flickering and I got a blue screen. The flickering was so bad it made the laptop unusable and there was no way to stop it. Razer doesn't have a customer support phone number so everything is done by email and after a week of communications, they told me to send my brand new $2500 laptop in so they can repair it. Never again. Pros: 1. Sleek design 2. Quiet Cons: 1. Dust and fingerprint magnet 2. Flickering screen 3. The worst speakers I've heard on a laptop

Stay away if you need your laptop to last longer than 3 hours on power saving. I wouldn't recommend this laptop if you travel to places without acessible power outlets.
